Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-406 is currently kept at Area-XYZ in a two door containment cell measuring 2 x 10 meters. The room is to be furnished as a standard living area. The cell door must have a damage resistance rating of 3A or above (see Incident report #001). No personnel shall interact with SCP-406 without direct permission from Dr.Novak or level 4 personnel. SCP-406 has been allowed to leave its cell for feeding at the staff cafe with the supervision of atleast (2) armed personnel (see Addendum 406-1). When leaving containment, SCP-406-A is to be removed from SCP-406-D.

(1) Personnel must be observing SCP-406-D through surveillance at all times and report SCP-406-Ds reading progress every few hours. In the event of a containment breach, SCP-406-D must be observed through surveillance cameras by (1) personnel to report SCP-406-Ds location. No personnel are to interact with SCP-406-D until it retrieves SCP-406-█. (3) Security personnel can then be dispatched to SCP-406-D location for containment.

Description:
SCP-406 consists of five components: A white glove (SCP-406-A), 'the center' (SCP-406-B), a humanoid entity contained within SCP-406-B (SCP-406-C), a humanoid male(SCP-406-D) and three alchemy books (SCP-406-1, 2 and 3).

SCP-406-D is a Caucasian male at the age of 18 and 172 cm in height. SCP-406-D exerts power through SCP-406-A by creating alchemy circles. Knowledge to create and use these circles are obtained from SCP-406-1 and 2. However, as of now, SCP-406-D is the only one capable of reading SCP-406-1 and 2. Once SCP-406-D is finished reading a book it will sense a new one within 3 hours. SCP-406-D has been observed to read faster than the average human being, reading at ███ wpm.
SCP-406-D reports a voice speaking to it through SCP-406-B, designated SCP-406-C. The Subject refers to SCP-406-C as its soul. SCP-406-D describes SCP-406-C as a white humanoid entity with a normal set of teeth and limbs but no eyes, tongue, nipples, or reproductive organs. Personnel observing SCP-406 have not reported voices coming from SCP-406-B. SCP-406-D refers to SCP-406-B as 'The center'. It is concluded to be the main power source to SCP-406-D.
SCP-406-1, 2 and 3 are grey, red and white books with no title. They are written with no known or language. Decryption attempts have been unsuccessful. SCP-406-D reports the knowledge already being in its head but unable to put into words after reading. SCP-406-D refers to SCP-406-1 as 'Alchemy Basics', SCP-406-2 as 'Destruction' and SCP-406-3 as 'Creation'.

Addendum 406-1:
Security Captain █████ has requested a surface test with SCP-406-D for a strength test on varies foundation containment cell doors. Request approved.
Addendum 406-2:
SCP-406-D has requested meals from the staff cafe with Dr.Novak in return for cooperation. Request approved.

Incident Report #001:
SCP-406-D used SCP-406-A on its containment cell door. SCP-406-D succeeded and proceeded to Research Wing ██ after incapacitating (4) security personnel. SCP-406-D was found with SCP-406-2 prior to containment. SCP-406-D reports SCP-406-C being the cause of the containment breaches on ██/██/████.

Incident Report #002:
SCP-406-D was taken to the surface 100 m away from the foundation for a surface test with (6) MTF personnel, (1) Class D personnel and Dr.Novak. After the test was over, SCP-406-D proceeded to incapacitate all MTF personnel after it was ordered to terminate D-2463. After all MTF personnel were incapacitated, SCP-406-D received SCP-406-3 from an unknown source.
