SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a standard jewelry box and placed in a standard facility locker for future examination.
Description:SCP-XXXX is a seemingly ordinary 14 karat gold necklace fitted with a single painite facet that hangs from the necklace. The necklace measures seventeen inches in length. The painite facet measures three inches in length and one inch in width. It hangs from the necklace via a gold ring fitted with a gold cage like structure to hold the facet in place.
The necklace was retrieved from the residence of a [REDACTED] who despite being 86 on record seemed to be only 21 and claimed to have received the necklace from an instance of SCP-XXXX, SCP-XXXX-A. [REDACTED] informed us that SCP-XXXX-A appeared to be a young humanoid woman who appeared in her residence on [REDACTED] and gifted the necklace to her. SCP-XXXX was confiscated along with [REDACTED] who was given the designation SCP-XXXX-B. Due to the nature of SCP-XXXX-B's situation the residence has been [REDACTED] to eliminate civilian suspicions.
Scans of SCP-XXXX yield nothing out of the ordinary. Subsequent test yielded entirely different results.
Initial test were conducted on D-Class test subject but ended shortly after results yielded complicated and morally ambiguous results. Upon placing the necklace on the subject he began to writhe with pain and fall to the floor. The sound of burning flesh was heard and smelled by researchers present. After approximately 45 seconds the D-Class subject stood up seemingly healthier and younger. Test on subject were halted afterwards.
Secondary test were conducted on SCP-XXXX-B. SCP-XXXX was placed on SCP-XXXX-B. SCP-XXXX-B was monitored for one full hour upon which time nothing changed in her vital signs.
Multiple test were conducted on SCP-XXXX but again yielded no abnormalities.
SCP-XXXX seems to exhibit rejuvenating abilities along with reverting higher order mammals and humanoids to their most peak state. upon removal of SCP-XXXX standard signs of entropy seem to continue.
Addendum 1-A
SCP-XXXX-B has been kept under close watch for [REDACTED] upon which time a lack of normal aging has been noticed. The aging process seems to be slowed almost to a standstill. Recent test have shown a dangerous side effect however. Subjects suffer from a deterioration of the Hypothalamus, Thalamus and Limbic system. This causes subjects to exhibit a lack of reaction to external pain stimuli and a total loss of emotional response. Subject appears to exhibit a loss of fear and is unable to express any kind of empathy. Subject appears to have also lost the ability to sense hunger, thirst, and the need for sleep although it it still required for sustenance.
Addendum 1-B
The D-Class subject died from lack of sleep and food. Multiple attempts to feed said subject were made but anything short of forced feeding was unfruitful. Subject became weaker until he subsequently collapsed and struck his head on the cot in his sell. He died on [REDACTED]. Steps were not taken to curtail immanent death nor to revive subject as it was deemed unethical to keep subject alive in such a state. The body was moved to [REDACTED] for further test and autopsy.
Notes
All personel are forbidden from placing the necklace around their neck. Anyone caught wearing SCP-XXXX will be detained and contained as a permanent subject of the foundation.
