Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be firmly secured to a steel restraint apparatus suspended within its containment chamber. SCP-XXXX is to be kept secured in the apparatus at all times, unless during approved testing. Maintenance inspections of SCP-XXXX’s holding apparatus to ensure working condition of equipment and complete immobility of SCP-XXXX should be performed weekly.

Under no circumstances should any personnel make physical contact with SCP-XXXX. In the case that physical contact is made with SCP-XXXX outside of testing, the airtight steel door of SCP-XXXX’s containment chamber is to be completely sealed shut by the security personnel on duty. Limited quarantine of the containment chamber should persist until decomposition of all available hosts inhibits mobility of SCP-XXXX enough for the recontainment team to overpower and resecure SCP-XXXX to its holding apparatus. Cleanup crews are to be deployed no later than four (4) hours after successful recontainment.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a black, heavily modified high-tech stealth suit composed of an as of yet undetermined, manufactured material. Analysis of the fabric has revealed its composition to be some sort of engineered nanofiber capable of altering its own physical appearance via unknown means, as well as limited independent locomotion. The former ability is primarily utilized to modify the coloration and color patterns of SCP-XXXX to match its surrounding environment down to the minutest detail, rendering it nearly invisible to the naked eye when inanimate. When animate, minor light refractions and visual fluctuations are visible around SCP-XXXX’s mobile form, although they are difficult to identify.

Specialized tissues on the hands, feet, and joints of SCP-XXXX almost entirely remove any audible sound from walking, running, crawling, or climbing, even in especially reverberate conditions. Further analysis of SCP-XXXX’s composite fibers to research their unique flexibility, durability, and possible sentience is currently awaiting O5 approval. Until approval is granted, SCP-XXXX may not be introduced to any human subjects.

When coming in contact with a living human being, SCP-XXXX will autonomously force the subject (herein referred to as ‘host’) to don itself via full envelopment of the body, beginning by externally accessing the host’s spine, and extending envelopment across the back, limbs, head, and front, adapting its form to replicate the host’s body shape. Notably, however, SCP-XXXX will always orient its own general body shape to be facing in the opposite direction of the host’s original stature. In doing so, SCP-XXXX will forcibly conform the host’s body to face backwards, without ever turning it around. It has been observed that SCP-XXXX accomplishes this task by means of physical compression, rupture of internal organs, laceration and rending of the muscle structure, and breaking or crushing of multiple bones. In the process, the host will likely suffer death through excessive damage to the spine, neck, skull, and major arteries and organs. Those that are not terminated through the reversal process often expire shortly after due to shock or blood loss. Curiously, because of the soundproofing nature of SCP-XXXX’s synthetic fabric, all noise created by this event is almost entirely smothered. After complete reversal, SCP-XXXX will activate its camouflage, and begin searching for its next host. As of yet, there has been no observed end to this behavior.
