Item #: SCP-5976
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5976 is too dangerous to examine directly. It is never allowed to leave containment, nor is anyone allowed to enter containment. The cell must be at least 15 feet thick lead. If SCP-5976 starts to actively attack the walls, the cell is charged with 500,000,000 volts of electricity, which disorients SCP-5976 and returns it into a dormant state. The camera’s inside the cell must also be covered in lead to make sure no weak spots exist in the wall.
Description: In the year 2004, footage of glowing eyes in the distance were seen in a small town called ███████. Some footage showed people with glowing eyes as well. The SCP foundation sent 5 workers to explore the reported anomaly. SCP-5976 killed 4 of the 5 workers, and then possessed the 5th one.
While a man is possessed by SCP-5976, their eyes glow solid white and is named SCP-5976-1. If the possessed body is killed, SCP-5976 will exit in a weakened state. In the weakened state, SCP-5976 can be contained by any metal as long as it’s being charged with at least 1,000,000 volts of electricity.
SCP-5976, while not possessing a person, appears black cloud with glowing white eyes, but is solid while dormant.
Experiments with SCP-5976 are not to be conducted so no one is possessed.
Every 2 weeks, SCP-5976 is to be charged with 1,000,000,000 volts of electricity so the cell can be repaired to prevent a breach.
Addendum: SCP-5976 appears to also have telepathic abilities, communicating with workers to convince them to free it. Anyone who obeys SCP-5976 is to be terminated, and anyone working near SCP-5976 is to wear a lead helmet to weaken its telepathic influence.
