Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to have a 1km perimeter of electric fences around it to prevent civilians from entering. 2 Guards are to be set at 12 stations set throughout the inside of the perimeter, and groups of 2 guards patrolling the area. Every 12 hours, an animal of a somewhat large mass, like a deer, is to put in front of SCP-XXXX for SCP-XXXX-1 to drag into the tree. And every 2 weeks, one D-Class personnel is to be sedated and put in front of SCP-XXXX for SCP-XXXX-2 to also drag into the tree.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a tree in the center of [REDACTED]. The tree has black bark and orange leaves and is just slightly shorter than the surrounding tree’s, effectively making it impossible to be seen from an aircraft as the surrounding tree’s obscure it. It is believed to not need sunlight to maintain its life since it’s always in shadow. The front of the tree has an opening, with what appears to be a mass of orange fog inside. The tree sometimes has instances of SCP-XXXX-1 come to claim nearby lifeforms, though it prefers to find humans and commonly tries to attack the guards and drag them into the tree. SCP-XXXX-1 is a humanoid figure with tree bark for skin. It has no mouth, and the eyes glow orange. Its hands can turn into very sharp wooden stakes to impale prey and drag them back to the tree. If not enough lifeforms are dragged into the tree, SCP-XXXX-2 will emerge from the tree in a fit of rage and attempt to [REDACTED] any lifeforms within a 1km radius. SCP-XXXX-2 has a mostly humanoid body, standing at 3 meters tall. The arms are 1.8 meters long, with large claws for fingers, and has tree bark for skin that matches the tree bark of SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX-2 actually has a mouth unlike SCP-XXXX-1, and has sharp stakes for teeth. Orange smoke emanates from the top of SCP-XXXX-2’s head while it looks for lives to [REDACTED.
Addendum: One of the guards was one time caught by SCP-XXXX-2 and dragged into the tree. He did manage to escape. How he escapes is unknown, even to the guard himself. He reported hearing whispers from, presumed to be SCP-XXXX-2. Then he heard another whisper, not from SCP-XXXX-2, but from something else. He couldn’t tell where it was from, for everything was surrounded by an orange smoke and sounded like it was everywhere. He also reported seeing a dense mass of black smoke, that he could not approach, for SCP-XXXX-1 was dragging him away. He eventually passed out from the smoke and awoke outside the tree, where he was found by some guards on patrol duty. The source of the unknown whisper is unknown, but believed to be another creature inside the tree.
