Incident 2058 1

<Begin Log>

SCP-2058’s cell is shown along with several researchers in Research Lab 2058-1 watching surveillance intently

Surveillance cameras shows a C-Class subject entering SCP-2058’s cell slowly

Dr. ███████: I don’t think this is good idea. Subject is approaching SCP-2058 too quickly.

Dr. ████: Silence! This is the first test we’re doing something like this.

Dr. ████████: There is absolutely nothing to be worried about. We have the subjects mental health displayed. We will know if something goes wrong and subject will be detained.

[Subject’s mental health screening suddenly shifts, subject shows signs of increased anxiety and desire]

Res. ████: You guys might want to take look at this. Subject is showing abnormally high signs of desire, stress, and fear.

[Subject is 2 meters into SCP-2058’s cell, suddenly subject falls to his knees. Screenings are showings very high signs of mental distress]

Dr. ████: Subject is showing extremely high signs of mental distress, speed towards SCP-2058 is increasing!

Dr. ████████: Guards detain the subject at once! I won’t have any casualties testing this thing. Not a Class-C.

Agent ███████: There seems to something wrong with door lock control! It’s not opening!

[Subject immediately gets up to his feet and runs up to SCP-2058 frantically opening SCP-2058]

Dr. ████████: Override the controls at once! Subject opened SCP-2058! Code red, code red!

[SCP-2058’a text emits a green glow, a grotesque mass of tentacles appearing from SCP-2058 wraps the subject and pulls them into SCP-2058]

Dr. ████████: What the hell just happened! It’s a fucking book how does a book wrap someone with tentacles and pull them inside.

Dr. ███████: No one enter the cell! Goddamnit I’m starting to feel overwhelmed already. How is it happening this quick?

Dr. ████████: Gentleman, if you would all follow me. Let’s get out of the vicinity of this… thing. I want normal surveillance to resume and normal procedures to resume while we figure out what just happened.

[The researchers and scientists left the room and are seen walking down the hallway with loud shouting and arguing occurring]

<Begin Log>

Several researchers and scientists are seen entering Conference Room 2058-1 with loud arguments occurring.

Dr. ████: Everbody take your seats and shut the hell up!

Dr. ████████: Thank you Dr. ████. Now, in regards to what just happened, I want that thing’s object class raised, however we will take care of that later. Furthermore, subject may or may not be dead. In any case, tests will resume.

[Loud arguing is heard once more]

Dr. ████████: However!

[Arguing stops]

Dr. ████████: Tests will resume only with D-Class personnel. Instead of simply entering the vicinity of SCP-2058 they will enter SCP-2058 because it seems we can’t get anymore new results. We will wait to see if subjects come back alive, or if they stay for an extended period of time, they will be presumed dead.

Dr. ██████: Actually, we did find something new. Without this incident, we would have never found out that SCP-2058 is capable of such things.

Dr. ████████: Though that is true, I would rather not waste anymore Class-C personnel on this thing, already too many have been driven insane and we maybe completely lost one. Which is why we will continue testing with only Class-D personnel. Any questions?

[Everyone looks around to see if anyone has any questions]

Dr. ████████: Good. Now, all of you go resume your normal duties while I clear everything up to some people that might be confused.

[Everyone exits Conference Room 2058-1 with Dr. ████████ last.]
