Description: An incident orchestrated by a Foundation staff member that resulted in a containment breach of SCP-XXXX.

The following is a timeline of the events starting from the morning of ██████████ ███.

8:16 AM: Chief Researcher Dr ████ and Assistant Researcher Mikhail Jones proceed with the resumption of experiments on SCP-XXXX-1.

8:30 AM: An email disguised as an urgent alert is sent to all Site-15 personnel involved with SCP-XXXX. The email contains crudely written passages based on previous works generated by SCP-XXXX-1. Unbeknownst to the rest of the site, SCP-XXXX-2 begins to manifest in almost all recipients of this email.

9:00 AM: Site-15 personnel becomes aware of the outbreak of SCP-XXXX-2 as the affected personnel begin to roam the site.

9:45 AM: All affected personnel is caught and restrained by security personnel and the administration of amnestics begins.

10:00 AM All affected personnel is cured and accounted for except for Assistant Researcher Jones. He was last seen in the middle of an experiment involving SCP-XXXX-1. Furthermore, the laptop containing the copy of SCP-XXXX-1 used for in the experiment is nowhere to be found.

10:40 AM: Foundation IT personnel begins to search for the source of the email. They were able to trace the source of the email back to the personnel computer of Assistant Researcher Mikhail Jones. Upon further investigation into his PC, communications regarding the sale of SCP-XXXX-1 was discovered.

11:59 PM: A call was received from the local Sherrif's Office regarding a vehicle on the side of the road by exit 41 of Highway ███ that contained a body who appeared to have sustained gunshot wounds. Foundation credentials was recovered from occupant of the vehicle.

12:30 PM: Foundation agents sent to retrieve the body were able to confirm the identity of the body as that of Assistant Researcher Mikhail Jones. There were no signs of the laptop containing the copy of SCP-XXXX-1.

12:45 PM: The body is handed over to the Foundation Forensic team. By using the ballistic evidence from the bullets retrieved from the body, Foundation forensics technicians is able to link the firearm used to three previous incidents involving the Chaos Insurgency.

Notes: In light of this incident, all access to works by SCP-XXXX-1 has been revoked, despite protests from Foundation personnel.
