Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class:Keter

Real Name: None

Alias: More Than It Seems

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is contained within a 5m x 5m 6 m acid-resistant padded cell backed by reinforced steel. All objects and materials entering or exiting 4301's cell, excluding materials and objects to be used for testing purposes are to be acid-resistant. Swiveling pressure based acid sprayers are built into the ceiling of the room, and will be activated if XXXX tries to escape during testing. A single 360-degree camera with both sound and sight capabilities which is able to be retracted into the ceiling. A reinforced containment cell door is the only way into or out of the SCP’s chambers.

All personnel entering and exiting are to be equipped with a suit of acid-resistant armor, and accompanied by two armed guards, each with acid-based weaponry. 4301 is suspended by a piece of thick chain made from iron, steel, and other metals, attached to a claw that is clamped around the SCP at all times and attached to the ceiling. 4301 is only to be released from it's hanging position during testing. One Class C personal is to be on watch at all times and is to trigger the sprayers if SCP-XXXX causes a breach during testing.

Description: SCP-4301 is a wooden icosahedron that weighs 5 LBS, with no scratches or imperfections on its surface, and fits within a 1 ½ feet sphere. SCP-4301 itself cannot be destroyed through any means, and the method of this immutability is still unknown. The object possesses anomalies abilities, including it's proposed "invincibility", as well as the ability to create "bodies", identified as SCP-4301-A, around itself through amalgamating materials onto itself. The invincibility does not carry to parts of XXXX-A, and as such can be melted by acids. It can pull a material that a flat surface of SCP-4301 is touching onto itself to form a part of SCP-XXXX-A.

SCP-XXXX cannot form more than one body part of SCP-XXXX-A out of a single material. Testing is required to determine if SCP-4301 can use materials that are similar in composition to those already on SCP-XXXX-A, to form another body part of SCP-4301-A. It is to be noted that SCP-XXXX first forms a chest like structure around itself before adding any other body parts onto SCP-XXXX-A. It is also known that SCP-XXXX has the ability to interface with certain electronics, and it is unknown if this is a recent development. See Addendum A-1.

Addendum XXXX-A1:
Post Site Manager approval, electronic devices were brought into the objects chambers by two scientists, as well as six armed guards. The devices included a dial-up phone, an Apple-branded iPhone, a small handgun, an Apple-branded MacBook, and a standard Foundation radio. Each device was placed against the object with the following results.

Both Phones: When the dial-up phone made contact with the surface of XXXX, nothing happened. When the Apple Branded iPhone came into contact with the surface of XXXX, the plastic of its casing rapidly attached to the wooden side of the object. A few seconds later, a rapidly moving image of something scrolled across the screen before the device burst into flames and fell to the ground. Later video reviewing revealed the images to be text which repeatedly spelled out the following message: LINK ESTABLISHED. WARNING LINK UNSTABLE, ATTEMPTING RECONNECT. WARNING RECONNECT UNSTABLE. DISCONNECTING. The phone proceeds to disconnect from the object, its case having melted from overheating.
The Handgun: Nothing occurred when the handgun was brought to the surface of the object.

MacBook: When the MacBook came into contact with the object, its casing was quickly pulled onto XXXX. A few seconds passed before the first few seconds of ████████’s ████████ with the song reversed, played from the speakers before it was also destroyed.

Radio: When the Foundation standard radio was placed against the surface of XXXX, it became melded with its wooden surface and a series of Morse code messages began to be played from the radio before falling silent. The messages are as follows:

The object has made no other “statements” since.
