Hello, This is Dr Ingeloakastimazilian, and today we will be talking about about SCP: 001, The Infinite Library. Object class: Euclid. SCP 001 is a library that appears to exist in its own infinite dimension, However the entrances to this Dimension appear in small towns and cities across the globe, assuming the look of public libraries. If walked into, you will find an instance of SCP 001-2. SCP 001-2 instances take on the look of a human wearing clothes fitting to the countries customary garb, i.e. T shirts, Shorts, Dresses, Saris etcetera. When approached these instances will attempt to get you to see the

In the back of the library, if the offer is accepted, they will walk the person to a room in the back, turn on the lights, and let them in. Once crossing through the door, they are brought to the infinite dimension and the door closes.
In the dimension, there are massive 50 foot tall shelves in rows, that seem to be anchored to the floor.
These shelves have infinite length, and there is an infinite number of them. All of these shelves are stacked full of books. It is believed that the library has every existing written thing in existence inside of it, and is ever expanding to meet the demands of all the paper and books written daily. Every week, the books on the shelves are reorganized overnight, seeming to simply teleport to a different location on the shelves.
Important notes: The Shelves of SCP-001 contain incognito hazards, including but not limited to (Data Expunged), (Data Expunged), and (Data Expunged).
The Shelves also contained books from the Great Library of Alexandria. Which Suggests that SCP 001 has existed for multiple millennium.
Special Containment Procedures: Any Instances of SCP 001 are to be set on fire and/or have funding and support ceased by the local government, unless the location is near a foundation site, in which case the land is to be purchased and used for study.
