Item #: SCP-5038 Woodland Wisp

Object Class: Safe(?)

Special Containment Procedures: Keep in a greenhouse-esque environment, filled with foxglove bells. Whilst this flora in the Plantagenet family is highly toxic to humans and certain fauna, this creature's diet consists of it, along with the consumption of the nectar from the concerned flower. However, as there was no time to create a new outdoor containment cell for this creature, the cell it is inhabiting has no access to natural sunlight as well as fresh air. The use of ventilation in this room and artificial sunlight is imperative to not only the flora in the cell but this creature's sleep it cycle. Other than these parameters, the creature should be contained.

Description: This small creature is comprised of a wood-like material, meaning it is a plant-animal hybrid, with transparent blue wings fluttering at tremendous speeds. The creature was found in a woodland area secluded in ████, suggesting the possibility of more of its kind hiding somewhere in that region. As reported from Dr. Kyan Veranda, this creature was quite fearful of his presence at first glance, flying away in panicked hurry. However, once he removed his safety equipment even at the risk of an attack, it seemed more at ease and even approached him with confidence with a laid back glide. From this information it is safe to assume that any and all technical equipment frightens the being, meaning that the most basic equipment may be necessary. More information as observations are held by Dr. Veranda.

Addendum: WARNING - Creature weeps corrosive tears as well as vomits an equally damaging liquid. Other information of the liquids are unknown. All personnel must wear dense fabric equipment for some form of protection as a precaution. For more information refer to observations from Dr. Veranda.
