SCP-XXXX Is to be contained in a 5 meter cubic containment chamber composed of carbonized steel at Site-██.
This containment Chambers is to be under constant observation utilizing heat vision cameras and audio recording equipment capable of picking up sounds of at least 20 Hertz.

Description:
SCP-XXXX is a roughly humanoid, gaseous apparition of unknown chemical makeup¹, and has a constant temperature of 15 degrees Celsius often making verbalization from a unknown source at approximately 10 Hertz².

SCP-XXXX Is capable of phasing through solid matter with the exception of carbonized steel.
It has been made clear through its time at the Foundation that SCP-XXXX is incapable of sight, comprehending Direction, and the passing of time.
Through analysis of SCP-XXXX vocalizations it appears to have a mental state similar to a senior citizen with dementia often making vocalizations such as "Where am I?" and "So dark." presumably not even aware of their anomalous state.

Addendum 1:
For approximately 7 hours SCP-XXXX constantly made the vocalization "Billy boy".
A small investigation led to the discovery of an individual named "Bill ███" who was convicted guilty of murdering their 72 year old grandfather named "Joseph ███" during a fishing trip.
This occurred 2 weeks prior to SCP-XXXX initial containment in the same area.

Forward: The Following is an excerpt from the transcript of Bill ███'s police interrogation following the death of his grandfather.

Investigator: Listen pal, I'd recommend just confessing. All the evidence is stacked against you! No alibi, two eyewitnesses, and the old man's will leaving everything to you.

Bill: Please, I didn't do it! You have to believe me!

Investigator: I suppose he strangled himself to death then?

Bill: Yes!

Investigator: You're serious? You're telling me a 70 year old man was able to strangle himself so hard he pierced his own throat with his fingers, and you just watched?!

Bill: I tried to stop him! But he was too strong for some reason… probably what the witnesses saw.

Investigator: And you're wondering why I'm have a hard time believing you.

Bill: Ok let me tell the story from the beginning! We were in the middle of Lake ███████ fishing on our boat, making jokes, listening to his favorite song about boneless bananas.

Investigator: You're rambling.

Bill: Sorry, what I was getting at was that everything was fine until he reeled in… something. I'm not sure what it was but it was finally decorated… pole, that had a big hoop on the top of it that the hook latched ont-

Investigator: Boy I fail to see how this relates to his apparent suicide.

Bill: I'm getting to that. The moment he took it into his hands… it looked like he'd seen a Goddamn ghost and just stared off into the distance.

Investigator: And this is when he started strangling himself?

Bill:Yes… God knows how hard I tried to pry his hands away but he was just too strong.

Investigator: I'm giving you another chance to confess, and I'm going to be completely honest with you… no one's going to believe you.

Bill: …

Investigator: Suit yourself.

Closing Statement: Bill ███ was later found guilty and sentenced to death by the state of ██████.

Addendum 2:
Investigation into Lake ███████ led to the discovery of an object henceforth known as SCP-XXXX-1 similar to the one described by Bill ███ in his interrogation.
While SCP-XXXX-1 has a resilience to all forms of physical damage it currently shows no other anomalous effects.
More testing required.

Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-XXXX is to be mounted on the wall of a standardized object containment chamber at site-██.
All experiments should be executed in its containment chamber with D-class personnel.
By order of Dr. █████ all experimentation involving SCP-XXXX is prohibited until further notice, see incident log.

Description:
SCP-XXXX is a standard 115 cm by 250 cm dry-erase whiteboard most commonly used in schools. SCP-XXXX-1 is a semi large illustration of a potted flower In the lower right half side of SCP-XXXX seemingly drawn with a red dry erase marker although tests have shown that it's composed of human blood of an unknown individual³.

SCP-XXXX anomalous quality occurs when a subject erases any portion of SCP-XXXX-1. When done the subject will experience an immediate loss of blood seemingly equivalent to the amount of SCP-XXXX-1 that was erased by the subject.
This process has shown to last between 10 to 45 minutes, with subjects only experiencing the common symptoms of blood loss such as lightheadedness, and fainting, often resulting in death if the proper medical attention is not given.
After the subject has lost the appropriate amount of blood SCP-XXXX-1 will "Regenerate" by manifesting blood droplets on the surface of SCP-XXXX slowly recreating SCP-XXXX-1. If fully erased this process can take up to 15 minutes.

Test 6-XXXX ██/██/19

Subject:
D-4446

Procedure:
D-4446 was instructed to fully erase SCP-XXXX-1. After which Dr. Blake will attempt to draw blood from D-4446.

Results:
Dr. Blake's first attempt at drawing blood utilizing standard blood collecting equipment failed. Dr. Blake then attempted to lacerate D-4446 forearm using a scalpel with no observable bleeding.

Analysis:
It seems SCP-XXXX doesn't like losing any of its victims blood. While not the exact result I was expecting it still implies that it can't take a subject's blood when its on the outside. -Dr. Blake

Test 17-XXXX ██/██/19

Subject:
D-2334, D-9826

Procedure:
D-2334 was instructed to fully erase SCP-XXXX-1. D-9826 was instructed to prevent SCP-XXXX-1 from regenerating by continually erasing it.
Results:
After 8 minutes of D-9826 preventing SCP-XXXX-1 from regenerating SCP-XXXX created a loud shrieking sound, and D-9826 heart violently ruptured during the experiment and died instantly.
Analysis:
That was unexpected. -Dr. Blake

Test 48-XXXX ██/██/19

Subject:
D-7166

Procedure:
In an unauthorized experiment Dr. Blake took D-7166 who was being taken to the on site Infirmary for bleeding laceration along there forearms following a suicide attempt. Dr. Blake then forced them to erase SCP-XXXX-1.

Results:
D-7166 stoped bleeding with the remaining blood on their arms re-entered the blood system through their lacerations. Security then took D-7166 to the on-site Infirmary where their lacerations were properly treated and had made a full recovery unaffected by SCP-XXXX anomalous effect. SCP-XXXX-1 began regenerating approximately 2 hours after being erased, a process that took an additional 40 minutes. Personnel report hearing a quiet sobbing during this time across the entire site.

Forward:
Dr. Blake has been severely reprimanded and is now prohibited from any experimentation involving SCP-XXXX.

Despite Dr. Blake no longer allowed to experiment with SCP-XXXX. He attempted to make an experimentation request involving [DATA EXPUNGED].

This request was immediately denied, and Dr. Blake's level ██ access suspended until a full psychological analysis was made.
Dr. Blake then went into a psychological breakdown using his personal handgun to kill ██ personnel then locked himself inside SCP-XXXX containment chamber.
Dr. Blake was left alone in SCP-XXXX containment chamber for 17 minutes before MTF security could enter the chamber to discover Dr. Blake dead having been [DATA EXPUNGED]. Forensic cleanup claimed to have heard a soft giggling sound while within SCP-XXXX containment chamber.

SCP-XXXX is currently being analyzed for possible cognitohazard effects.

Addendum:
SCP-XXXX was discovered at ██████████
High School Pennsylvania, when police were investigating the death of a janitor who had died to blood loss without any noticeable stab or puncture wounds on his body.
The foundation became involved when one of the schools teachers died in the middle of class to the same circumstances.
SCP-XXXX was discovered and contained within the teachers classroom.

who had gone missing 2 days prior to SCP-XXXX containment.
