Item #: 4307

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4307 is to be kept in a benzene-filled cell, as this is what it feeds off of. Benzene has to be refilled every twelve to nineteen days to keep the organism from starving.

Every six months, two workers shall approach the chamber and replace all five of its nitrogen canisters, the nitrogen canister is what keeps the being emotionally stable.

Description: SCP-4307 is considered one-half human, one-fourth elephant, one-fourth spider. It has no eyes, walks on ten legs, has two sharp 6-inch platinum fangs in its mouth, zinc horns on both sides of its cheeks, fifteen to twenty-five feet tall, and very slimy in texture.

SCP-4307's are commonly found in unincorporated communities all over the High Plains region of the United States, however a few were spotted in Saskatchewan and Alberta. They will hide inside abandoned grain elevators, where they will nest their young and feed on the leftover seed. SCP-4307's live by breathing nitrogen off of the clovers that nestle around the elevators. Benzene is the only liquid SCP-4307's drink, as it nurtures them to grow even taller. It is said that there are a few small benzene lakes still in existence today for these beings.

SCP-4307's usually come in large packs of seven or twelve to drink on the benzene lakes that are present in the area however reports of packs being larger than twelve have been reported.

When harmed, the SCP-4307 will shriek similarly to a banshee at a whopping 105 db, and in some instances up to 120 db. Residents of counties that have reported these beings are encouraged to put on ear protectors if a SCP-4307 is spotted.

There are currently approximately ninety SCP-4307's in containment. Most contained SCP-4307's are currently being held in Site-81 however a few are spread across several facilities.

Addendum A: The first known appearance of a SCP-4307 was located walking outside of an grain elevator south of Kenton, Cimarron County, Oklahoma in 19██. It was spotted by local farmer Mr. ██████ Gonser, who contacted the Cimarron County Sheriff's Office claiming he saw a twenty-three foot figure drinking in a nearby benzene lake. The Sheriff's Office, after investigating matters, contacted Site-81 to contaminate SCP-4037.
