Special Containment Procedures: SCP-3396 requires no special containment procedures.
Description: SCP-3396 is a pair of gauntlets that are made of metal. The Gauntlets do not seem to have any features that make them different from the average medieval hand armor. SCP-3396 was created in an SCP research facility located in Southern Ireland, in attempts to make armor that would protect the user from any SCP it makes contact with. The gauntlets themselves are the size of the average adult male hand, but seem to rapidly adapt to the users hand size whether their hands are smaller or larger than the gauntlets. It is advised that although SCP-3396 is comfortable at first to wear, that the user does not wear them for too long, for it could lead to pain in the hands. After the original creation there have been several attempts to duplicate the SCP, but every attempts has only made gauntlets that have no effects on disabling other SPCs effects. SCP-3396 has had a 75% success rate so far, due to 3/4 experiments being successful.

Subject: D-90256
Procedure: D-90256 is placed in a testing chamber with SCP-999 with the gloves.
Results: The tickle monster was not in any mood to socialize even though there was a different subject testing right before this one and the tickle monster was behaving as it usually would.
Analysis: The gloves have taken away the effects of the tickle monster, but when a different subject without the gloves is exposed, the effects seem to kick back in.
Test B - Date:████
Subject: D-40464
Procedure: D-40464 is placed in a testing room with SCP-3041 with the gloves.
Results: After holding the knife for a complete hour, D-40464 was released from the test chamber, and was then requested to take a nap. Afterwards researchers asked questions of what the subject could have dreamed, mostly questions correlating with those of the incident involving D-85373. D-40464 responded to all questions positively.
Analysis: The gloves canceled the effects of the red knife and to this date (a week afterwards) D-40464 has been examined and determined to be healthy.
Test C - Date:████
Subject: D-90256
Procedure: D-90256 is placed in a testing room with SCP-3209 with the gloves.
Results: The butterfly acts naturally and does not acknowledge the presence of D-90256. After a while the butterfly lands on D-90256, but does not react in the way it would when normally on an animal or human being. A rat was placed in the same chamber afterwards and the same butterfly drained it of its interest.
Analysis: The gauntlets prevented SCP-3209 from pulling the subject into a trans, even though the only thing the subject was wearing for protection was the gloves.
Test D - Date:████
Subject: D-40464
Procedure: D-40464 is placed in a testing room with SCP-173 with the gloves.
Results: D-40464 was asked to turn 360°, after the subject did so, SCP-173 stood in front of him. At this point D-40464 panicked, thinking this wouldn't occur considering he was wearing the gauntlets. D-40464 was asked to do it again, this time standing closer to SCP-173; at first he declined but we reassured him that the gauntlets would keep him safe. Once D-40464 repeated the procedure SCP-173 simply moved slightly closer, even though it would by that point usually exterminate the subject.
Analysis: SCP-3396 can either completely cancel the effects of other SCPs or simply limit their abilities. Further testing is planned and required, especially with Keter class SCPs.
