Special Containment Procedures: SCP XXXX is to be housed in an air tight 20x20 meter chamber
with an air lock to prevent further spreading of the fungus. All Personnel who enter the containment area are to be wearing Class A hazmat suits and armed with a 9mm handgun until it's infectious properties have been investigated further. Level 4 clearance is required to enter SCP XXXX's Containment, any personnel who enter the containment chamber without proper clearance is to be terminated on site. All testing on SCP XXXX is to be held within it's containment chamber. In the event Sight personal are exposed to SCP XXXX's spores, they are to be quarantined and receive medical aid.
Description: SCP XXXX is a viral fugus of unknown Composition that emits infectious spores. SCP XXXX is currently referred to as "The Fungus." first reports of "The Fungus" were made in the southwestern regions of Australia. The Fungus appears to infect breathing organisms that inhale it's spores, resulting in multiple copies of The Fungus growing out of the infected subject, this Process is similar to Ophiocordyceps Unilateralis, better known as the "Zombie Ant-Fungus". Any infected subjects are known as SCP XXXX-1. SCP XXXX-1 instances exhibit increased aggression towards objects and non-infected subjects that prevent it from spreading The Fungus. The fungal infection lasts 2-10 weeks depending on the size of SCP XXXX-1. During the last week of the infection period, SCP XXXX-1 will start decomposing due to the effects of The Fungus. At the end of the "Decomposition Phase" SCP XXXX-1 will have a 70% chance of death, and in the case of death the previous "Copies" of "The Fungus" will explode and release its spores into the air. In the case of survival of the "Decomposition Phase" SCP XXXX-1 will exhibit muscle loss up to 30%. Places where muscle tissue has decomposed The Fungus will grow and replace it. Two days after surviving the initial "Decomposition Phase" SCP: XXXX-1 will no-longer exhibit increased aggravation towards objects or non-infected subjects and will only become aggravated if it feels threatened.
Addendum: The Classification "Keter" has been assigned to SCP XXXX. It's infectious traits and need to spread makes it difficult to contain. Following the death of Dr █████ due to SCP XXXX's infection, all sharp shrubs and hazards to the hazmat suits have been disposed of.

SCP XXXX's fungal Copies aren't bursting like seen in test 001, it seems SCP 008 has mutated SCP XXXX's fungus to decompose itself.
