Scp XXX is to be keep whiten a 12 by 6 by 6 cm stainless steel lock box with a 5 digit combination lock that is to be changed monthly. This box is to securely held within a room with no windows and one one entrance. This entrance is to be lock at all time except during testing. Scp XXX is currently being held at Site-57. Due to Scp XX's inanimate nature, in the event of a containment breach it should be given lowest priority.
Description
Scp XXX is a small Framed picture depicting what appears to be an Ocean, the ocean appears to be in a state of chaos as large waves and dark clouds are apparent on the image. The image (Frame included) is approximately 12 cm wide by 6 cm tall. When a human views to the image they will begin to show signs of extreme distress, Hyperventilating, coughing, and in most cases involuntary signs of distress such as sweating, the dilation of pupils, and urination. After a short time of being in this distressed state the subject will begin to choke, coughing of water and falling to the floor, and vomiting up what appears to be only water. After approximately 60 seconds of this behavior the subject will perish. Upon preforming an otopisy on the diesed corpse it has been determined that at one point water had filled the lungs of the subject, but has since then vanished.
However directly viewing Scp XXX is not the only way to trigger it anomalous affects. As viewing Scp XXX from that of a picture will trigger these effects regardless of where on the picture the subject looked. Viewing artistic renders of Scp XXX will trigger the same responses as viewing it directly.
