Authors' Resources

Per the greenlighting policy, first-time authors must get concepts reviewed in the Ideas Critique Forum or IRC chatrooms before creating a feedback thread in the Drafts and Critique forum. Draft critique can still be sought via IRC and PM without greenlights.

When you have a draft that you know for sure the audience will like, bring it to Drafts Critique Forum. Please note that the forums move much slower than the chat, and the draft forum moves slower than the ideas forum!

The mainsite-run IRC chatrooms are the most reliable source of real-time critique discussion.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be stored in a deoxygenated 2 m x 2 m x 2 m titanium box 40 meters below sea level at Site-██. All personnel are forbidden from entering the chamber in which SCP-XXXX is held without 05 clearance. Any unauthorized organism entering the chamber is subject to immediate termination.

Extensive research and testing has concluded that SCP-714 grants the wearer immunity to all effects of the substance.

Description: SCP-XXXX is an opaque yellow substance known to impose fatally ill effects when viewed by any humanoid instance. Any instance of SCP-XXXX being viewed will result in immediate brain damage.

Affected individuals are classified as SCP-XXXX-1. Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 are unidentifiable upon creation, but quickly show signs of being affected by the yellow substance within minutes. See Testing Log-XXXX for further details.
