If you're somehow here… wtf I shouldn't be giving out this url that'd be dumb. But either way, this is where I will posit stories about me IRL. Yes I will change most of the personal information, but I need a place to tell my stories, because as much as I like fiction, I also like my non-fiction.
Also why the fuck aren't I writing this locally? Like… I'm not but I have no good reason for this. Maybe its because I want to work this into a skip somewhere someday. idk.
Ok, as of this writing I've only really had one girlfriend: Val. Val was pretty great. She was cute, smart, and pretended to be Iron man about 25% of the time (which was also cute). I spent a lot of time with her in my second semester of senior year, since we shared a lot of classes and she was on the high school robotics team (because all the cool kids were on the robotics team).
And let me tell you, this robotics team was intense. We were pretty good. One of the best in the state. That means that once robotics season started, I, as the leader of the technical team attended every meeting. Which meant I spent every weeknight, from 6pm-9pm, and every weekend, 9am-12pm at the robotics building. And Val was there most of the time too, so we'd use it as an excuse to hang out. So we'd chat while we built robots. Yes, this was as perfect as it sounds.
But still, this left me with a conundrum. Because you see… robotics season ran right through Valentine's day. Which was on a Saturday. And we had been dating for like a month so I needed to do something… but then like… I also needed to be at robotics all day because Saturdays were always super busy. This was a problem. Just a bit. Just a tiiiiinnny little problem.
It also didn't help that my parents were like "hey, son. You doing something for your Val for valentine's day?"
And I'd be like "Of course! It's Valentine's day what do you think I am some sort of prick?"
"Then what are you doing?"
"Umm… uh… going to robotics?" Look ok I knew that wasn't the answer. But I didn't know what the fuck to do. I had a job!
Until it hit me. There is a way for me to multitask this like a goddamn genius. I took to my computer and started typing, and typing, and typing, and before I knew it, the clock struct 3am and I had a finished story with a letter to boot. And then I remembered it was thursday and school started in 4 hours… oh fuck me.
So I went so sleep and like, half dozed through the next day. Val asked if I was fine, and I told her I was just tired. Never gave a reason.
And then Saturday came. Game day.
And I went to robotics. But of course I brought my stuff: computer, safety glasses, five sheets of paper stapled together, some duct tape, an envelope and a wallet. You know, the usual things you need to build robots.
I managed to play everything cool, my brother came in a separate car so he never saw the supplies, and Val didn't seem to think I was acting strangely at all. Three hours passed and it was finally lunch. Now this is where the genius came in. I told everyone that I wasn't a fan of the lunch food brought in that day, and that I would just go eat lunch on my own. Little do they know… I just skipped lunch instead. I got in the car and booked it straight to Val's house. Supplies in the back seat.
I pulled into Val's neighborhood and started looking for her house. Now… I'd been there before, but I couldn't quite remember which one it was. So I rolled along slowly. And then I realized that I passed her house. Awwww damn it. I circled back around finally stopped in front of her house. Now it was time for the final phase
