Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4734 is to be stored in a storage locker in Site 76 while not undergoing testing. Testing cannot be initiated by any personnel familiar with Dr. █████ herself or Dr. █████’s Research Staff. Testing of SCP-4734 requires a Level 3 security clearance. Weekly psychological is to be conducted on any personnel that comes in contact with SCP-4734.
Description: SCP-4734 is a single right-handed black glove made of elastic, charred human skin. The dimensions, coloration, and physical appearance of SCP-4734 alter between uses. Generally, the skin’s texture is consistent with charred human skin. The source of SCP-4734’s elasticity is unknown.
SCP-4734 was first discovered in an abandoned mine in █████ after bodies from what appeared to be lynchings were found by a group of children from a nearby village. The Foundation became aware of its existence after the entire village turned up dead, which drew the attention of a nearby field agent. This prompted the disposal of all the bodies, and SCP-4734 was taken into Foundation custody. SCP-4734’s anomalous properties were first identified through unusual circumstances (see Addendum 4734-a-1).
When a subject wears SCP-4734, it melts into their skin until it is no longer visible. Subjects have reported feeling varying levels of pain while this process occurs. When an audible noise is made with the hand SCP-4734 has bonded to, any human that hears the sound is hoisted into the air by an invisible rope-like object for approximately 10 minutes. If the being does not die of asphyxiation, the neck is severed through unknown means. Further research is required to determine SCP-4734's affect beings lacking either a neck or head.
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4734-2 is to be held in a 5m x 5m sound-proof humanoid holding cell observed at all times by security cameras that have no auditory functionality. SCP-4734-2’s right hand must be in an appropriate restraining device to prevent its fingers from touching. The glove can only be removed with the approval of the Site Director or a Security Director. 2 of the armed personnel must wear sound-proof headphones while guarding SCP-4734-2 and all three must wear gloves that cover their entire hands and wrists along with long sleeves covering their wrist and lower palm of their hands. All tests with SCP-4734-2 require the approval of the Site Director. Due to the natures of SCP-4734-1 and SCP-4734-2, all tests are to be monitored remotely without any auditory apparatus and the presence of personnel apart from test subjects in the testing area during experimentation is expressly prohibited.
Description: SCP-4734-1 was a single right-handed black glove made of elastic, charred human skin. The dimensions, coloration, and physical appearance of SCP-4734-1 alter between uses. Generally, the skin’s texture is consistent with charred human skin. The source of SCP-4734-1’s elasticity is unknown.

When a subject wears SCP-4734-1, it melts into their skin until it is no longer visible. Subjects have reported feeling pain while this process occurs. The subject wearing the glove is now considered SCP-4734-2. When a noise consistent with a snap is made with the hand SCP-4734-1 has bonded to, any human, including SCP-4734-2, that hears the sound is hoisted into the air by an invisible rope-like object for approximately 10 minutes. If the being does not die of asphyxiation, the neck is severed through unknown means. SCP-4734-2’s right becomes severely burned and becomes the next instance of SCP-4734-1. Further research is required to determine if SCP-4734's affect beings lacking either a neck or head.
As of current documentation, SCP-4734-1 is no longer accessible due to its being fused to Subject D-████ (see Experiment Log 4734-1-e-3). Subject D-████ was subsequently re-classified as SCP-4734-2. SCP-4734-2 is a Caucasian female who on current. SCP-4734-2 was first taken into Foundation custody on ██/██/19██. SCP-4734-2 has congenital analgesia and was rendered deaf on ██/██/19██ to test the effects of SCP-2927. No testing of SCP-4734-2 can be approved by anyone lower than a Level 4 clearance until further notice because of possible anomalous properties that D-████ had prior to being bonded to SCP-4734-1.

Log: 4734-1-e-1
Research Staff: Dr. █████ and Dr. █████
Date: ██/██/20██
Subject/s: D-0522 (male; age 24)
Mental State/s NPA
Procedure: Subject D-0522 seated in secure test chamber containing SCP-4734. Subject instructed to place SCP-4734 on its right hand, removing it when signaled by a green light.
Duration: 15 minute 10.4 seconds.
Results:Subject D-0522 seated on chair facing a table with SCP-4734 on it. Subject disgusted at glove and refused to put glove on. Subject reminded that uncooperative behavior will result in immediate termination. Subject yells expletives before placing SCP-4734 on its left hand. Subjects shows signs of pain and distress as SCP-4734 disappears into skin of subject.
Subject D-0522 begins tearing at their skin. When instructed to stop, subject screams while banging hand on table. Subject reminded that uncooperative behavior will result in immediate termination. Subject refuses adhere to commands given by research staff. Armed personnel ordered to detain subject. Subject retreats to back of room, clutching its right arm. When the armed personnel enter the chamber, subject screams for them to get back, appearing to become more distressed the closer the armed personnel came. All audio output from the recording device cuts out for an unknown reason. While pointing at the guards, subject snaps its fingers once before the recording appears to show the armed guards being flung towards the ceiling. The feed then cuts to static for 10 minutes and 5 seconds. During this time, attempts to open the doors to the test and observation chambers proved unsuccessful. When footage cut back, the subject, the two doctors, and the two armed personnel were both found to be dead on the floor. Bruising consistent with that found on Dr. ███████ was found on all 5 of the necks and upon a full autopsy, all three seemed to have died of asphyxiation. D-0522 had the same type of burns that were present on Dr. ███████’s hand.
Note: This SCP appears to have numerous anomalous properties. I do believe that I have gained a fair understanding of how SCP-4734 works, but additional testing must be done to confirm my hunch. I believe that the snap that was seen in the last second of the footage was the trigger for the visual and auditory blackout. A test to determine whether it was the sound that made caused the death of Subject D-0522 and the two guards or some other factor is needed.

Subject/s: D-2354 (male; 27); D-3525 (male; 45); D-████ (female; 32)
Mental State/s NPA; NPA; deaf, congenital analgesia
Procedure: All three subjects are instructed to pay attention to any effects of SCP-4734-1 and report what they see once testing ends. Subject D-████ is instructed to place SCP-4734 on its right hand once it enters the testing room. The room is to be monitored through 2 layers of bullet-proof and sound-proof glass. Subjects D-2354 and D-3525 are not given any form of ear protection. Subject D-████ is then instructed to snap its fingers once upon the activation of a green light. Once testing ends, any and all surviving subjects are to be quarantined and examined for thirty days before being terminated. If Subject D-████ survives without SCP-4734-1 leaving its hand, a metal restraining device is to be placed on its right hand until SCP-4734-1 one can be removed.
Duration: 12 minutes 24.3 seconds
Results:All three subjects are seated in chairs, with SCP-4734 residing on a plain plastic table. Subject D-████ follows previously given instructions to place SCP-4734 on its right hand. Subject D-████ complies with commands and places SCP-4734-1 on its right hand with visible disgust. Upon breaching the room, Subject D-2354 was found dead with bruises consistent with hanging around its necks while Subject D-████ was found whimpering in the corner of the room with the decapitated head of Subject D-3525 lying in front of it. Armed personnel entered the room, the hand restraining device was applied to the near-limp body of Subject D-████.
Subject refused to respond to questioning until nearly 15 minutes had passed. Threats of termination yielded no response.2 hours after the event Subject D-████ wrote: “There should have been ropes… where were the ropes? That guy. Why did it squeeze him… I tried to help.”
Note: I will have to suspend testing on SCP-4734-1 due to its bonding to SCP-4734-2. Testing on SCP-4734-2 should only resume once more surveillance of SCP-4734-2 has been completed. -Dr. Halson

SCP-4734-2:
Addendum 4734-1: SCP-4734-1 was first reported to be in containment on ██/██/20██ at Site 76 by Dr. █████, who was in the process of categorizing a recent influx of possible SCPs. Why Dr. █████ wore SCP-4734-1 personally is unknown. Dr. █████ and the rest of her research staff were found dead the following day in an abandoned testing section of Site 76. Due to the section’s incomplete nature, not footage of the events was recorded. The section has since been properly integrated into Site 76. All the recovered bodies had bruises around their necks consistent with those who are found to be victims of a hanging. The bodies were dispersed across the room. Dr. █████’s left hand had been heavily burned. An item consistent with Dr. █████’s description of SCP-4734-1, which found in her lab coat pocket, was determined to be the charred skin of Dr. █████’s hand. The charred skin was subsequently categorized as SCP-4734-1.
