Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in its record player in a soundproof room at all times. All personnel entering SCP-XXXX’s containment cell must wear soundproofing headphones at all times and be approved by n̶o̶ ̶f̶e̶w̶e̶r̶ ̶t̶h̶a̶n̶ ̶(̶2̶)̶ ̶L̶e̶v̶e̶l̶-̶4̶ ̶p̶e̶r̶s̶o̶n̶n̶e̶l O5-█.

If SCP-XXXX is at any time taken out of its record player, a containment breach will be issued and security teams will be on high alert for 8 hours following the issued containment breach. If SCP-XXXX-1 is not identified throughout Site-72 after 8 hours, security teams will no longer be on high alert and may resume their regular tasks.

If SCP-XXXX-1 is identified throughout the facility, security teams will be ordered to terminate it on sight. Until they have completed that task, Site-72 will remain in a site lockdown.

SCP-XXXX’s containment cell should be checked bi-monthly for any damage to the soundproofing of the cell. If any damage is found the material is to be replaced as soon as possible

Description: SCP-XXXX is a single record of a song by the english band Radiohead titled “Creep” which was released in 1993. SCP-XXXX can start playing on its own accord (See Incident-XXXX-01). SCP-XXXX came into the Foundation’s attention when a string of homicides took place in ████, England on ██/██/1995.

When listened to, everyone who heard the song will begin being followed by SCP-XXXX-1 in a stalker-like fashion. Victims will report the feeling of being watched throughout the day and feeling unsafe. Once they go to sleep they will be killed by SCP-XXXX-1 using various methods such as suffocation, poison, piercing and [DATA EXPUNGED]. No attempts to save the victim from being killed by SCP-XXXX-1 have been successful to this date.

SCP-XXXX-1 appears to be a human male, approximately 1.8 meters in height and wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt. Though he appears as a human male with his sweatshirt on, when he takes his hood off he looks like a [DATA EXPUNGED]. To this day SCP-XXXX-1 has only been observed in its rage state after SCP-XXXX is taken out of its record player except for once during initial recovery (See Initial Recovery).

While in its rage state SCP-XXXX-1 gains multiple abilities such as speed, immense strength, quick reflexes and presumed night vision. At one point he was observed dodging bullets with seemingly no effort. Despite all of this SCP-XXXX-1 is not invincible and will go down the same as any other human when dealt a fatal wound, however, he will be reincarnated as soon as SCP-XXXX is heard again. If all measures to kill SCP-XXXX-1 fail either MTF Epsilon-11 (Nine Tailed Fox) or MTF Omega-X (Pablo Honey) is to be called to Site-72 to defuse the situation.

Initial Recovery: SCP-XXXX was discovered in a home in ████, England with SCP-XXXX-1. It appeared SCP-XXXX-1 had killed its victim and foundation agents took SCP-XXXX-1 into restraints. He showed no resistance or anger when being taken into custody and was generally very compliant. When Foundation agents took SCP-XXXX out of its record player SCP-XXXX-1 was visibly angered and warned the agents to put it back.

When the Foundation agents denied this request SCP-XXXX-1 started shrieking in a pitch unlike his original voice. SCP-XXXX-1 then broke out of his restraints and attacked the agents. When reinforcements arrived at the house, all agents that had been sent except for Agent ████ had been killed (See Interview-XXXX-01). They again put SCP-XXXX-1 in restraints and he dematerialized not long after.

Interviewer: Can you tell us about the task you and your team were assigned?

Agent ████: Do I have much of a choice?

[Interviewer is silent]

Agent ████: That’s what I thought. We received a call from the I.A¹ telling us about some random ass serial killer in the area apparently being triggered by this vinyl of a Radiohead song. Said we were in the area and to check it out. After all, it was just one guy and how could one guy pose a threat to four military-trained SCP agents. And so, we went on our way to a tiny cramped basement in the middle-of-nowhere England.

Interviewer: What happened when you arrived at this basement?

Agent ████: Just like I.A had told us, this creepy looking guy with a black-hooded sweater was just sitting there silently after disemboweling this poor woman. We put him in a Class III Humanoid Restriction Harness just to be on the safe side because we didn't know what this thing was exactly. Didn’t feel like trusting the I.A’s scarce and mostly inaccurate information after hearing ████’s recovery log.

Interviewer: Is this when SCP-XXXX-1 started acting aggressively?

Agent ████: No, actually. He didn’t lift so much as a finger in resistance when we told him we were restraining him.

Interviewer: So then what caused his sudden change in behaviour?

Agent ████: Agent ████████ decided to take XXXX out of the record player. That’s it. I warned him against it, especially after XXXX-1 became visibly distressed and angry at us. He didn’t listen to me, saying it was “protocol” or some bullshit and tried putting it in a case…

[Agent ████ is silent for a couple moments]

Agent ████: It then started… shrieking. But not human shrieking, at least I don’t think. Compared to XXXX-1’s deep voice, this was high-pitched and creepy as fuck. From what I remember, it was probably more akin to [REDACTED].

Interviewer: I see, so this is when it…[Papers are heard moving] broke out of the Class III Restriction Harness?

Agent ████: I shit you not. The harness that keeps 049 under control whenever he is being moved did fuck all against this thing. It was like a superhero movie where they flex and their shirt is ripped to shreds. Only this time it was reinforced steel.

Agent ████: After that, my god. This thing was an actual monstrosity capable of running up walls, bouncing off said walls, ripping Agent ██████ in half… it even dodged bullets. Bullets that travel 1,230 feet a fucking second dodged like they were nothing. It wasn’t until it turned its attention on me when I realized I was the only one standing in one piece.

Interviewer: This is when reinforcements arrived?

Agent ████: Yeah. I told them not to agitate it because what the fuck were we supposed to do if they did? And so they managed to calm the thing down before it ripped me a new asshole. Literally. It disappeared not long after that and I told them not to take the record out of the player no matter what bullshit protocol they were told to follow. Thank fuck they listened to me this time.

Interviewer: I see. Thank you for your time today Agent ████. This has been informative and will help ensure proper containment for SCP-XXXX.

Addendum-XXXX-A:

On 04/07/1997 SCP-XXXX played throughout the entire day for an unknown reason when it was simply supposed to be played once. It is speculated that it played the entire day because it hadn’t been heard in 7 months. After a D-Class was sent into the containment chamber to try and find out what was causing SCP-XXXX to continuously play, it stopped and SCP-XXXX-1 killed the D-Class. Under the order of O5-█, D-Class are to listen to SCP-XXXX monthly to be killed by SCP-XXXX-1.

Addendum-XXXX-B:

On 03/23/20██ After the second containment breach security was ordered to burn the body of SCP-XXXX-1. This resulted in a new instance of SCP-XXXX-1 that had every ability the original SCP-XXXX-1 had except stronger. Security has been ordered to wait for the body to disappear the next time they kill an instance.

Autopsy Report:

On 02/16/2003 after the fourth containment breach SCP-XXXX-1 was taken into a morgue where doctors and researchers performed an autopsy on SCP-XXXX-1’s body. When they cut open the body it didn’t bleed like a regular human. They tried to get the sweatshirt off SCP-XXXX-1 but it appeared as if the sweatshirt had grown out of his body.

In its body it was discovered that SCP-XXXX-1 didn’t have any organs except for a [REDACTED] which has been classified as SCP-XXXX-2.

Incident Log-XXXX-01:

On 11/19/1999 SCP-XXXX started playing on its own accord. Security responded to the situation quickly however they had all listened to SCP-XXXX and as a result 10% of Site-72 were killed that night by SCP-XXXX-1. Some tried to stay up all night to avoid SCP-XXXX-1 however this failed. As a response to this the Site director as well as O5-█ ordered extreme soundproofing on the walls of SCP-XXXX’s containment chamber. All testing of SCP-XXXX was suspended under order of the O5 Council.

Incident Log-XXXX-02:

After not being listened to for over a year by anyone, through unknown methods, SCP-XXXX blasted itself through site speakers and over 89% of Site-72 had heard the song and they were all killed by SCP-XXXX-1. As a result, the O5 Council declared SCP-XXXX a major threat. Regular testing was resumed and MTF Omega-X (Pablo Honey) was formed to combat an incident like this happening again. The O5 council then declared SCP-XXXX a potential XK Class Scenario. (See Statement from the O5 Council)

Statement From The O5 Council:

To all remaining staff of Site-72,

As you all already know, SCP-XXXX broke containment in a way we don't even know possible. After not being listened to for over a year, SCP-XXXX blasted itself through site speakers and killed 89% of all staff that worked there, including Director ██████. We don't know how it managed to do it, but we do know one thing. This SCP has become a very large threat.

If it is capable of blasting itself through site speakers then is it capable of blasting itself outside of site speakers? Could it blast itself through an emergency alarm system and affect civilians? Is it capable of uploading itself online? These are all questions we don't want the answers to. Thus, we will be resuming regular testing on SCP-XXXX for now to keep it appeased.

As we have discussed what to do about this SCP that poses an extremely large threat to the Foundation and to civilians, we have come to the conclusion that this SCP is simply too dangerous. We have designated SCP-XXXX as a possible XK if it breaches and have given it an order for termination. As such, we have also formed a new Mobile Task Force team that will specialize primarily in the destruction of SCP-XXXX and combat of SCP-XXXX-1. MTF Omega-X (Pablo Honey). This Mobile Task Force has been specially trained in ways to fight super-human anomalies and will ensure security to all staff should there be a breach of SCP-XXXX-1.
