Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a room resembling a hotel swimming pool with an average hotel swimming pool stationed next to it. SCP-XXXX is to be stationed as far away from the main entrance to the room as possible. Testing is to occur once a month.

Description: SCP-XXXX was found on ██-██-████ at an average ███████ ███. SCP-XXXX was subsequently moved to Site-██ by the Foundation where it was hooked up to a running water system for further testing. SCP-XXXX takes the shape of the average hotel hot tub and feels normal upon first entry. Upon exiting SCP-XXXX the person who entered SCP-XXXX experiences a large and sudden decrease in body temperature and show no signs of heating up. Subjects that leave SCP-XXXX always have this sudden drop in temperature no matter other outside conditions.

15 seconds after exiting SCP-XXXX the subject begins to turn to ice from the legs up. 30 seconds after exiting SCP-XXXX the subject's body is almost halfway frozen. 45 seconds after the subject is completely frozen and begins to turn into snow no matter the temperature of the room. One minute after the subject is completely snow. After the subject begins to melt depending on the room temperature.

Testing is currently being done to see if SCP-XXXX can be used to contain or destroy other SCPs such as [REDACTED] Further testing on other SCPs using SCP-XXXX is to be canceled.

Addendum SCP-XXXX A:

Test A - 12-13-2009

Subject: D-5738
Procedure: Use a sample of the water within SCP-XXXX and allow D-5738 to drink it.
Results: D-5378 began to exhibit the normal symptoms of SCP-XXXX after his next their of the bathroom.
Analysis: SCP-XXXX anomalous properties are due to the water within the tub, not the tub itself.

Test B - 01-13-2010

Subjects: D-3879, D-8932
Procedure: Two separate glasses of SCP-XXXX were poured, with one being partly filled with salt water and the other with distilled water
Results: The glass with salt water stopped showing its anomalous properties and D-8932 continued as normal. The glass with distilled water showed all of its anomalous properties with no changes.
Analysis: SCP-XXXX will not show anomalous properties if mixed with certain types of water such as salt water. Further testing is required to confirm this theory.

Test C - 03-13-2010

Subjects: D-2507, D-2578
Procedure: One cup of pool water taken from [REDACTED] that D-2507 is to drink and one cup of filtered water from Dr. N█████'s fridge.
Results: Pool water instantly gained the anomalous properties of SCP-XXXX while the filtered water took roughly three seconds to gain SCP-XXXX's anomalous properties.
Analysis: Saltwater completely destroys the anomalous properties of SCP-XXXX while other types of water will be infected by SCP-XXXX's anomalous properties
