Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5036 is to be locked in an iron safe measuring 12 x 12 x 12 inches with 3-inch thick walls in Site-██. Under no circumstances are Site personnel allowed to open said safe or make physical contact with SCP-5036 unless authorized to by Site director Dr.██████. Personnel authorized to make contact with SCP-5036 must be wearing gloves of any sort, as long as the skin never touches SCP-5036.
Description: SCP-5036 is a book that measures 5 inches tall, 3 inches long, and 1 inch thick. SCP-5036 was found on ██/██/19██ by MTF Beta-9. A 45 man was found next to the severely mutilated body of a young child, presumably his son. When approached, the man attacked MTF Beta-9 with a knife and was quickly shot and killed. SCP-5036 was then taken to Site ██. The appearance of SCP-5036 varies based on the viewer of the book. It always seems to take the form of a book that will solve whatever problem is on the viewers mind, i.e How to Cure Your Cold or How to Fix a Failing Marriage. Viewer will than be compelled to touch and read SCP-50361. If they do, they will be referred to as SCP-5036-1. SCP-5036-1 will then become very aggressive and attack and attempt to kill any and all people nearby. On ██/██/20██ a D-Class personnel entered SCP-5036's containment cell and made contact with SCP-5036. The D-Class then went on a rampage, resulting in the deaths of ██ staff, and Agents ██████ and ████████, and current Site director Dr. [DATA EXPUNGED]. D-4035 was restrained by MTF Delta-12 and questioned by Dr. ██████.
