Item #: SCP-5079
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5079 is currently housed at Site-23. The subject is to be kept in a 6 x 6 meter normally furnished cell which is to be sealed and guarded from the outside by one (1) security guard at all times. Limited requests for additional furnishings must be approved by the site director. No cameras or windows are present in the cell.
No personnel are to be let into SCP-5079's cell at any time. A 1 x 1/2 meter sloped chute is to be provided for supplying food and water, as well as additional small furnishings. The subject's location in the cell is to be confirmed through auditory response every week. In the event that a member of personnel becomes compromised by the termination of the subject, they are to be euthanized immediately.
Description: It is not known whether or not SCP-5079 has been exposed to the effects of SCP-2874, but the high likelihood of having been affected (Addendum 1), as well as the inability to confirm has led the Ethics Committee and the site director to oppose euthanizing SCP-5079 (Addendum 2) until either the termination of the subject, the confirmation of effects, or further information.
SCP-5079 is a Caucasian female 19 years of age and approximately 1.7 meters tall, thought to be affected by SCP-2874.
SCP-5079 was acquired on ██ / ██ / ████, AKA “The Blackship Incident” (see Addendum 1) and has remained at Site-23 for less than 7 months, although the situation regarding the author of the report on SCP-2874, Dr. ██████, has led researchers to believe that the effect of SCP-2874 may be much longer than reported.
Subject has been noted to converse with security personnel assigned to its cell. This is regarded as harmless and is currently permitted by site personnel but is subject to revision. No personnel are to inform it of the reality of its situation as per the opinion of the subject's psychological evaluation (Addendum 3).
Subject had been administered Class A amnestics directly before acquisition and currently believes it is in a special holding cell in a maximum security prison for the murder of its family. The subject expresses remorse for its actions but has little memory of the incident.
Subject engages in regular eating and sleep, talks frequently with its assigned security guard, and has requested on different occasions a total of four (4) items:
██ / ██ / ████: Blank diary and writing utensil, approved by the site director.
██ / ██ / ████: Small loveseat, denied by the site director due to size of object.
██ / ██ / ████: “Her phone”, referring to a now destroyed smartphone, impossible to supply.
██ / ██ / ████: Polaroid camera, approved by the site director.
