Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a 3x3-meter cube located in site-██. At least 1 guard must always be outside of its containment at all times. All personal are required to have level 3 clearance to conduct experiments with SCP-XXXX. During transit, 3 security personnel are required to stay at least 2 meters away from the SCP at all times.
If a containment breach were to occur, SCP-XXXX is to be transported by the built-in mechanism that will transport it 15 meters underground to prevent it from being activated by any staff.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a standard █████ Brand 1968 box TV. If a subject were to be within 5 meters of SCP-XXXX, SCP-XXXX will turn itself on, and the subject who was in range will be deemed as SCP-XXXX-A. It is currently unknown how SCP-XXXX turns itself on. When SCP-XXXX is on, it will begin playing the 1980 movie, ██████ ████. SCP-XXXX-A will then be hypnotized into looking at the screen of SCP-XXXX. However, if SCP-XXXX-A manages to look away from SCP-XXXX, the subject will go into a dream-like state and dream of an alternate reality. This transition is seamless to SCP-XXXX-A, as they go from real reality to an alternate reality. The effect will generally last 20-48 hours.
Addendum 1: It has been reported that certain subjects have gone mentally unstable, and had to have been given Class-C Amnestics.
Addendum 2: It is currently being tested if previous life traumas depict what will be shown in this alternate reality.
