SCP-4978 (A hivemind, self-repairing wooden Chair)

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4978 Should be kept in a steel 6x4x5 room in site (DATA EXPUNGED). with windows from east to west. Under no circumstances should SCP-4978 be damaged for any reason. SCP-4978 will sometimes spawn 3 dog-like animals (SCP-4978-1's) from the ground or a cyan-glittering mist (SCP-4978-2), this should be considered normal and all SCP-4978-1's should always be executed and bodies burned and. No one is allowed to sit on the SCP-4978 and each week the containment cell must be decontaminated from any harmful gasses.
Description: SCP-4978 is an old wooden rocking chair made out of oak wood, possibly built somewhere in the early 1940's. SCP-4978 will always be seen in pristine condition no matter the circumstances. SCP-4978 sometimes spawn 3 SCP-4978-1 from the ground, they are not hostile until SCP-4978 has been damaged. SCP-4978 will also spawn SCP-4978-2 which is a mist that envelopes SCP-4978, self-repairing it and suffocates any human or animal, similar to mustard gas. It was discovered by a female auctioneer who found it in her deceased grandmothers house in Syria, the woman was given class-C amnesics as well and SCP-4978 being later taken by MTF (See Addendum 13-6-92)
SCP-4978-1 is 7 feet tall with feces for skin and flesh, razor sharp teeth and front claws. SCP-4978-1 is only hostile to victims who damage SCP-4978. SCP-4978-1 has 6 legs, 2 in the front are longer and have sharper claws, whilst the middle 2 are shorter and are put more back, SCP-4978-1 has no tail and a smooth back as well as no eyes but can still somehow see. SCP-4978-1 has increased strength and speed if SCP-4978 is damaged. SCP-4978-1 grows bigger with every victim it kills. SCP-4978-1 is not afflicted by bullets but is stunned by them.
SCP-4978-2 is a glittery cyan mist that automatically repairs SCP-4978 and acts as mustard gas to humans and animals. It comes randomly or when SCP-4978 is damaged. It dissipates after 4-30 minutes depending on how damaged SCP-4978 is. SCP-4978-2 is completely opaque.
Addendum 13-6-92: A small extraction team of 5 was sent to recover SCP-4978. Upon returning, only 2 units made it back safely with SCP-4978. The cause was due to an incident where one of the units, whilst carrying SCP-4978, tripped on a rock and dropped SCP-4978 to the ground. Because of this, the SCP-4978-1's began to maul the victim, another unit dropped SCP-4978 and attempted to open fire at one of the -1's but was immediately put to a halt and killed. The final victim threw SCP-4978 at the -1's and began to board the helicopter. The final two, one of which was the pilot, didn't react and simply yet carefully placed SCP-4978 to the heli and the SCP-4978-1's followed suite. Whilst going back to site (REDACTED), the two remaining units had to put on gas masks as the air began to fill up with SCP-4978-2. They were discovered near the landing zone and were given psychology testing, SCP-4978-1 & 2 were not seen when the heli was discovered.
Addendum 11-7-92: Multiple SCP-4978-1's were seen coming out of the ground, however none were hostile to any site-staff. Harassing SCP-4978-1 does not seem to affect SCP-4978-1 or SCP-4978 or they simply don't care, with this; a proper examination and dissection of SCP-4978-1 was taken.
Addendum 14-7-92: An arm got ripped off of SCP-4978 by termites, site staff weren't allowed in any of the nearby rooms that lead to SCP-4978's containment cell and MTF units were sent in to repair SCP-4978. Unfortunately, site staff didn't know about SCP-4978-2 and only one MTF guard made it out barely breathing; MTF unit Beta-7 ("Maz Hatters") were sent in to remove SCP-4978-2 and a proper examination was given for it. SCP-4978 was last seen once again fully repaired.
Addendum 24-7-92: Transcript and camera footage of an experiment to see what happens if a person sits on SCP-4978 goes as follows.
The D-class enters the cell and staff are checking to see if D-classes radio works, the D-class responds to the radio "Yeah, I hear you.". Staff order the D-class to sit on SCP-4978, just as he is about to do so, 3 SCP-4978-1's emerges from the ground, D-class panics and immediately runs back to the door; begging to get out. D-class is ordered to go to SCP-4978 or he will be executed there, D-class anxiously walks past the SCP-4978-1's and sits on SCP-4978, a few moments go by before the D-class falls asleep and takes control of all 3 SCP-4978-1's. The 3 SCP-4978-1's all break the door and begin to kill of site staff as well as SCP-4978-2 being emitted from SCP-4978 following just behind of the 3 SCP-3978-1's. A containment breach was called and MTF units begin to fight off SCP-4978-1's as two other units begin to make their way to the containment cell. 1 SCP-4978-1 is called back to the containment cell as D-class appears to have heard the two other units. Fortunately the two units were able to kill of the D-class, sit on SCP-4978 and command the SCP-4978-1's to kill themselves.
