One theory suggests that SCP-123 might be ghosts of the deceased who gets to spend a little extra time on earth their final moments on earth to stalk view how their relatives or friends are doing coping with him/her. A reminder to note is that most of this is false true speculation as well as theories yet to be confirmed, almost currently no one is able to identify where SCP-123 came from, when or why. One thing that is certain is that they are not here to kill harm us. It is theorized that they help put individuals to sleep easier and that SCP-123 brings joy good luck to who it watches.
**Addendum 6-12-76: An accident with SCP-682 has caused many casualties, one of the casualties was a researcher by the name of (REDACTED) who was a lover to researcher Jocelyn. Shortly after this event, Researcher Jocelyn has complained of being 'watched' by a black silhouette resembling the shape of researcher (REDACTED), no investigation was done on this and researcher Jocelyn was given a 2-week paid vacation and given psychiatric therapy to help cope.
Addendum 7-10-76: Multiple SCP-123's were seen outside of site-##, shots were fired but proven to be ineffective. Curious, one of the scientists asked the guards to open the gates. The scientist was criticized heavily but was given approval by site manager. Upon the full opening of the gates, all the SCP-123's rushed passed every guard and site staff, phasing through doors and heading straight to the omega warheads that lie in the bottom of site-##. All attempts to stop SCP-123 were futile and the "Shadow People" were able to activate and ride 3 omega warheads to the sky. However the omega warheads exploded mid-air and filled the entire blue sky with the night sky, showing many shooting and still stars. As of today this occurrence hasn't happened since.
IMPORTANT NOTICE. EVERYTHING DESCRIBED ABOVE IS SAID TO BE FALSE AND IS AWAITING TERMINATION.
Addendum 6-12-76: Siting of SCP-123 is seen outside of site-## by researcher ### who is still alive and researcher Jocelyn during her 2-week vacation for a totally different reason.
