Example of newly made "Wonderous Snap-Bang!!" containing SCP-XXXX-B

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-A is to be kept in a standard anomalous item vault in site 43, if SCP-XXXX-B is required for testing in quantities of greater than 0.5kg clearance from the site manager is required.

Instances of SCP-XXXX-B should be stored in quantities of less than 0.5 kg within thick steel boxes away from other anomalies and anything that could trigger a detonation from a conventional explosive.

Description: SCP-XXXX-B is a volatile explosive compound approximately 5,000 times more powerful than TNT. Instead of a traditional explosion it produces a large cartoon effect bubble in addition to a shockwave. The bubble lasts 30 seconds before fading and contains the word "Bang" and persists in pictures. In small quantities the shockwave is within a safe range for human ears and creates a sound similar to someone shouting "Bang".

SCP-XXXX-A is a recipe cut out of a 1943 edition of The Chicago Times describing how to create SCP-XXXX-B. The recipe only works if followed directly from the recipe and will not work on copies or from memory.

Transcription of SCP-XXXX-A:
Wonderous Snap-Bangs!!

Seconds to make, hours of fun!!

Recipe:
Mix
1-part water
2-parts flour
1-part sugar
1 drop of magic

Leave to dry wrapped in a piece of Wonderous Snap-Bang Magic Paper and ta-da your very own Wonderous Snap-Bang!!

Throw to leave a bang straight from the comic books!!!

Snap up a stack of 50 sheets for only 49¢!!

Despite the advertisement stating special paper is required regular paper works just as well. Similarly, "1 drop of magic" is also not required and works with just the ingredients shown.

The explosive substance (SCP-XXXX-B) is the only anomalous compound and makes up a small percentage of the object. There seems to be no size limit to the size of the "Snap-Bang" except the time it takes to dry.

Test of SCP-XXXX-B Based Weapon

Acquisition Log: SCP-XXXX-A was recovered from the USA government in 1947 after a SCP-XXXX-B based weapon was detonated in the Bikini Atoll, the army was testing its viability as a replacement for conventional ballistics because of its low cost of ingredients and high explosive power. The bomb contained 4 tonnes of SCP-XXXX-B causing a cartoon bubble reaching a diameter of 400m at its peak.
