JackSpinoRex's Sandbox

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a 3.5m x 3.5m x 3.5m room, in which there is a small, sealed glass case that houses SCP-XXXX. No human subject (Excluding Class-D personnel during testing) is to come into contact with SCP-XXXX.

Description:
SCP-XXXX is the fossilised tooth of a previously unknown creature. (See addendum XXXX-A.) SCP-XXXX was found in the rock formation of █████, located in █████, ███. SCP-XXXX was discovered to be anomalous when the leader of the paleontological dig team that SCP-XXXX was discovered by touched the entity. After having touched SCP-XXXX he became petrified. When Foundation agents heard of this, they arrived at █████ and administered amnestics to everyone that witnessed SCP-XXXX's anomalous effect.

Addendum XXXX-A
Item: SCP-XXXX

Tissue test record:
Tissue fossilised without incident.

Termination Test Record:
SCP-682 was heavily sedated and transported to a large room that also housed SCP-XXXX, where the object was sitting on a steel table that was attached to the floor.
SCP-682 walked over to the artifact and examined it. After a while of staring at SCP-XXXX, SCP-682 chuckled quietly.

SCP-682: It's one of mine.

SCP-682 then proceeded to breach containment, resulting in ██ casualties.

Notes: Despite apparently being the fossilised tooth of SCP-682, SCP-XXXX exhibits none of SCP-682's anomalous properties. Hypotheses as to why this is the case vary from being a result of the fossilisation process to being the result of other anomalous activity in the area.
