Special Containment Procedures: Any instances of SCP-XXXX-1 must be detained within a standard containment cell specific to their needs. If possible, Foundation staff are to predict any massive loss of life and send a MTF unit to intercept the instances. Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 are to be detained using whatever means deemed necessary for the instance's species. MTF units are to be ready for deployment in the event that an instance of SCP-XXXX occurs during end-of-month terminations of D-Class personnel.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an anomalous event in which one random individual in a species or group consisting of a minimum of 3 individuals is the sole survivor of the group/species's death. The affected individual is classified as SCP-XXXX-1 and cannot be injured or killed by any known means. To the Foundation's knowledge, there are no known ways to contain SCP-XXXX as it occurs randomly, however, staff are to look for any potential massive losses of life and watch for any instances of SCP-XXXX-1. In addition, MTF are to be prepared to detain any instances of SCP-XXXX-1 resulting from the termination of D-Class personnel.
Addendum: The first recorded instance1 of SCP-XXXX occurred during the bombing of Hiroshima, Japan on August 6, 1945 when a 24 year old male named ████ ████████ had survived despite the bomb detonating directly over him. Since then, a great number of instances of SCP-XXXX have occurred around the world.
Incident-0341: Date: ██-██-1963. In the country of ██████, a poacher found a dodo2 and tried to shoot with with a hunting rifle, but it was unaffected by the bullets. Foundation agents were able to capture the dodo and administer amnestics to the poacher. This incident supports the possibility that instances of SCP-XXXX have occurred centuries before the instance at Hiroshima.
Incident-0562: Date: ██-██-1972. During the end-of-month termination of D-Class personnel at Site-██, D-57421 survived execution and all further attempts to terminate D-57421 were unsuccessful. D-57421 was detained, given amnestics, and moved to Site-██ for containment. New procedures were created to prepare for new instances of SCP-XXXX resulting from D-Class terminations.
