Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5443 is to be kept in a five by five meter storage room. Personnel are to stay aproximately five meters away from the containment area at all times. No surveilance footage is to be taken inside of SCP 5443's containment cell for any reason. Anyone who breaks these guidelines must immediately be given class A amnsestics and detained for at least three hours.
Description: SCP-5443 is both a singular notebook (5443-1) with the word 'recipes' scrawled beneath an immovable amount of white supermarket brand tape, showing only the numbers, 5,4 and 3 as well as a partially broken wooden spoon (5443-2). 5443-2 is physically incapable of being taken outside of exactly two meters of the notebook, and will act as if it is within it's own spherical container. Please note that this container is not visible and can be moved in and out of by any other mass.
The only recipe SCP 5443-1 contains, is a guide on making a previously widespread confectionary known as an apple maldelli. When a subject is within five meters of visibility of each of the pages of SCP 5443, These may be images of the pages or access SCP 5443 itself, they will be compelled to follow the recipe using SCP-5443-2, taking required ingredients by force, even if it presents bodily harm to the subject. If no ingeredients are to be found in an area of five kilometers, the effects will not manifest. Subjects who finish completing the directions given in 5443-1, will begin what is belived to be a kind of ritual. They will take the apple blancmange, and will take it to a dark surface they see fit as being dark enough, and use it to draw what appears to be a seven armed entity within a circle. This symbol is belived by some experts to have some relation to sarkicism. The wil then take any kind of nearby filth, waste or dirt of some kind, and spray it over the symbol using their mouth. The subject then repeats the phrase, 'Tribus. Muicifircas. Quattuor. Quīnque. Malum lingers. Our guilt betrays us. Tribus. Muicifircas. Quattuor. Quīnque.' for several hours. After this is said, the subject will then attempt to clean the site of interest and will forget about the events taken place. The subject then becomes an instance of SCP-5443-4. Video imagery is ineffective in informing the subject of their actions.
Instances of SCP-5443-4 act exactly as they did before initial exposure until the second tuesday of every april. Subjects will collectively seem to lose all coherent thought at exactly 05:44:43. Actions made by instances of SCP-5443-4 will link to their previous actions in some way.
