SCP-5178
Object class: Safe

Special containment procedures:

SCP-5178 is to be kept in a standard safe class SCP storage unit. SCP-5121-1 is not to come within 5 meters of any cooking supplies, such as flour, water, sugar, etc, except for when testing. While a testing procedure occurs, upwards of 2 guards must be on-site if a containment breach is to occur.

Description:

SCP 5178-1 was found in an abandoned lab in Sweden. On the back of SCP 5121-1, the word “Pizz” is carved into the surface. SCP 5121-1 appears to be a standard white oven, with a standard 2 prong power plug. When plugged in, the 2x5 cm LCD screen will turn on, displaying the time that it was last set to before it was plugged in. When anything uncooked, and edible (Such as various doughs, meats and vegetables), enter SCP-5121-1, the oven door will close without manipulation and will automatically set itself to the desired temperature of the user, via what is most likely mind reading, though this has yet to be proven. When the item that was put into SCP-5121-1 is thoroughly cooked, the door will automatically open, and SCP-5121-1 will eject SCP-5121-2 with a spring-loaded oven rack. SCP-5121-2 appears normal to the naked eye, but upon further inspection, via an EEG (Electroencephalogram) it is shown to have brain waves and is sentient. When any part of SCP-5121-2 is removed, it will start to grow limb-like appendages and a mouth with sharp teeth that can grow up to 6 cm, depending on the size of that SCP-5121-2. The limb-like growths on SCP-5121-2 are fully functional of transporting the rest of SCP-5121-2. SCP-5121-2 will attempt to kill and dismember anything that has a heartbeat, and will take any remains of anything that it has killed and try to transport it back to SCP-5121-1, to try to make more instances of SCP-5121-2.

Addendum:

D-7865 is instructed to create and consume a traditional ham using SCP-5121-1.
D-7865 is successful and consumes one fourth of the ham.
26 minutes after the initial consumption of the ham, D-7865 describes hearing a high pitched ringing, similar to when your ears ring.
1 hour past the initial consumption, the instance of SCP-5121-2 is observed to be sprouting appendages from its severed end.
Once 3 hours and 42 minutes had passed, the instance had full sized limbs proportionate to its body and began chasing the subject. D-7865 was killed and dismembered by the instance of SCP-5121-2, the instance then made an attempt at returning to SCP-5121-1 with parts of D-7865 to create more instances of SCP-5121-2 before being terminated by personnel.
