SCP 0937 Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP 0937 is to be kept in a locked standard humanoid containment cell at all times. the cell door must be made of reinforced steel and remain locked at all times. Any request made by SCP 0937 for the door to be opened is to be denied. At no times are more than two persons allowed to enter the chamber at one time.

Description: SCP 0937 was moved to site 20 in 2002 due to a previous containment breach. Origin of SCP 0937 is as of yet unknown. SCP 0937 is a biped canine with a similar build to that of a red fox. SCP is approximately 183 cm tall and 135 pounds. Without a host SCP 0937 prefers to constantly hunt for any prey it can find. If SCP finds a host, which conducted in tests is always human, it will begin to consume the host. After consumed, the host becomes a part of SCP 0937. 0937 shows its human counterpart in different ways, when in a dormant state, SCP 0937 will peel back half its face revealing half of its host's face. The host appears completely lucid and aware of their situation. SCP uses this ability to lure in prey. SCP 0937 uses the same host until they are no longer needed or expire. The Foundation still cannot explain SCP 0937's need for a host but it is believed they are used for a backup food source. There have been several situations where SCP 0937 has allowed its host free communications to several personnel, see log 001 for more information. SCP 0937 seems to be the only one of its kind. further information is unknown. No further information was gathered on SCP 0937 was found, and is still in containment.
