Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4087 is to be kept in Site-██, in a 3m x 5m room supported with one-way glass to prevent visual contact between SCP-4087 and any member of foundation staff. The room is to be outfitted with "homely" furniture such as a comfy bed, a bedside table, a wardrobe full of fresh, clean clothes, a set of chairs and a table, and a sofa facing a small TV mounted on the wall. SCP-4087's containment area also has a separate 2m x 3m room to support a bathroom. This was implemented as to not cause any distress to SCP-4087, and to make it feel more "at home" with its surroundings. Mental or physical distress to SCP-4087 may result in harm to foundation staff members in the local vicinity of SCP-4087's containment area.
SCP-4087 must be monitored 4 times hourly to ensure safe containment. SCP-4087 is allowed to freely roam the facility once a week, and is let out of containment to go to the cafeteria for lunch[SEE INCIDENT 4087-1]
Description: SCP-4087 appears to be a 17 year old Caucasian male of British decent. It is 177.8 cm (5'10") tall and is 134.0 lb (60.8 kg), with brown hair and green eyes. All physical features of SCP-4087 appear to be that of the average teenage male, except for its eyes, which appear to change colour to a "bright yellow and red" when SCP-4087 is demonstrating it's telepathic abilities. SCP-4087 also tends to hide it's face under a sweatshirt when not using it's abilities. SCP-4087 can create visual and auditory illusions to those that are within it's eyesight, which feel extremely authentic to the recipient. Due to SCP-4087 only being able to conduct these illusions while looking at a target, the best defence said target can have is to run away and try to stay out of SCP-4087's line of sight.
SCP-4087 tends to act calm when alone or in the presence of a small number of people, in large crowds SCP-4087 becomes agitated and claims there is "Too much noise" and "Too many voices" due to SCP-4087's ability to hear people's thoughts (Not on command) and access their memories (On command), this may result in a psychological breakdown, which causes it to lose control of it's abilities, potentially harming all present. Due to this, the foundation has done everything possible to keep SCP-4087 happy and calm, this includes making his room more "homely", and having his interviews conducted by Dr.█████████ solely. This is to build trust for SCP-4087, which reduces the risk of violent behaviour and/or a psychological breakdown during interviews.
When psychologically attacking a person, SCP-4087 will often find a traumatic memory from the victim's past, and recreate it accordingly to cause major distress. [SEE ADDENDUM 4087-1]. SCP-4087 has also been seen to trick a victim into performing an act that proves fatal to themselves or those around them. [SEE ADDENDUM 4087-4 AND ADDENDUM 4087-3]. Incidents have also occurred where SCP-4087 has got "bored" and has tricked staff into thinking it is dead, dying, or escaped. [SEE INCIDENT 4087-2].
Additional notes: SCP-4087 was contained by MTF Pi-1 on the ██/██/2010, after an incident was reported to the foundation about an event that occurred at SCP-4087's primary school in ██████, New York. [SEE ADDENDUM 4087-2]. SCP-4087 was originally though to be infected by SCP-405, however this theory was disregarded as symptoms did not completely match SCP-4087's abilities. SCP-4087 also requests to be called Liam, as that was it's childhood name.
Incident 4087-1: SCP-4087 was eating lunch in the site cafeteria on ██/██/2016 when three level 2 members of staff started harassing SCP-4087 due to it stealing a cookie from one of them by making them think they had already eaten it. SCP-4087 became quickly agitated, and visibly emotionally upset, it then used its ability to make itself look like "Their worst fears imaginable. The worst nightmares they could possibly have dreamt of", which in turn, made all three of the victims slash their throats with the cafeteria knives. SCP-4087 says that "I made them so terrified, that they would have rather ended their own lives that to keep looking at their worst nightmare.". Theories suggest that mental subliminal messaging was also used to persuade the victims to commit suicide. [SEE INTERVIEW 4087-1].
Incident 4087-2: At ██:██ on ██/██/2016, SCP-4087 tricked Dr.█████████ into thinking it had been impaled by a sharp object, causing large amounts of bleeding, when rushed to the on-site medical centre it was realised by Dr.█████████ that SCP-4087 was simply playing a prank as it was "bored of watching nature documentaries". This illusion was even visible to those who were not being viewed by SCP-4087, this is due to the transfer of SCP-1475 being in progress, bringing the two SCP's into a 0.5km range. This allowed SCP-4087 to tap into SCP-1475's mind, amplifying it's abilities.
Addendum 4087-1: At ██:██ on ██/██/2015, SCP-4087 caused Dr.█████████ to relive a traumatic experience of when her father died after getting distressed by the questions being asked. It caused Dr.█████████ to see her father dying on the floor in front of her.
Addendum 4087-2: SCP-4087 was contained by MTF Pi-1 on the ██/██/2010, after a report came to the foundation of a mass suicide at a primary school in ██████, New York. After containment and interrogation, it was established that SCP-4087 was being bullied by 4 of the children attending the school, and wanted to "Make them pay". There were 38 casualties; 8 teachers, 30 children.
Addendum 4087-3: At ██:██ on ██/██/2007(Pre-containment), SCP-4087 convinced a stranger that they were amidst a zombie apocalypse, this caused the stranger to try to kill every person in sight with their concealed firearm. The victim was shot dead by police that arrived on the scene. The motive for this was that the stranger had supposedly (Accidentally) knocked SCP-4087's ice cream out of it's hand.
Addendum 4087-4: At ██:██ on ██/██/2010 (Pre-containment), SCP-4087 made a woman commit suicide in her home in ██████, New York. SCP-4087 claims that it saw a memory of the woman killing her ex-husband, so made her think that he had come back from the dead to "haunt her forever". It then made her believe that the "ghost" told her her to kill herself, or she would go to prison for life.

Dr.█████████: Liam you killed three members of staff. That cannot go without punishment and you know this.SCP-4087: Well technically, they killed them-
Dr.█████████: Liam this isn't funny. I cant control what happens to you now. I'll try to do whatever I can to stop them from doing what they want with you, but you have gone too far this time.SCP-4087: Fine. Let them take me. It's not like you'd care anyway.
Dr.█████████: Of course I care Liam, but… People will vote on what happens to you next.SCP-4087: The O5?
Dr.█████████: …Yes.SCP-4087: Well? Dont you want to know?
Dr.█████████: Know what?SCP-4087: Why? You want the motive dont you?
