Special Containment Procedures: SCP-9731 must be contained inside of a small, metal box at all times, unless the inside needs cleaning. In the case of cleaning, cleaners will have to remove SCP-9731 from its box and place it in a glass container. Another personnel will keep watch over SCP-9731 whilst the other cleans the inside of the box. Once cleaned, SCP-9731 is removed from the glass container and placed back inside the metal box.
Description: SCP-9731 is a small butterfly-looking creature that refuses to fly. When in a neutral state, SCP-9731 wings will change to the colour yellow and will not attempt to harm any personnel. In the case where SCP-9731 feels harmed or provoked, its wings will turn a blood-red and proceed to attack any personnel nearby. Once SCP-9731 comes in contact with the skin, it releases a black liquid into the body and this proceeds to replace all blood in the body. Once the blood has been completely replaced, the personnel dies and slowly melts away. SCP-9731 will continue attacking until satisfied, in which it will turn back into a neutral state.
