A Drawing of SCP-XXXX done by a Young Wendy
Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained within a 6-kilometer radius of SCP-XXXX-18's containment sector. The perimeter of the 6-kilometer radius must be lined with Sodium chloride and Viscum album at all times; a further 3-kilometer radius from the 6-kilometers perimeter must be warded with runes written in Elder Futhark that are carved throughout the trees within the vicinity and then interlined with the blood of ‘sacrificed’ livestock. This procedure must occur twice per-day, once at dawn and once at dusk.

SCP-XXXX-18 must remain within a containment sector approximately 9 meters in dimensions within the center of the lined perimeter. No personnel shall make physical contact with SCP-XXXX-18 and must maintain a safe 1.5-meter radial distance from it.

No electronic devices nor any equipment that can be deemed ‘hostile’ or ‘harmful’ towards SCP-XXXX-18 will be brought within the 6-kilometer radius of its containment sector. (I.E. Rifles, Scalpels, Flashbangs, GPS’, Phones, ETC).

No personnel with records of violence, sexual misconduct, social misconduct or separated families are permitted to enter within the 6-kilometer radial perimeter of SCP-XXXX-18. All personal whom enter within the perimeter that interact with SCP-XXXX-18 must be of Celtic descent, present SCP-XXXX-18 with a gift and maintain a cordial attitude towards it throughout their visit. At no times shall personnel refer to SCP-XXXX-18 as SCP-XXXX-18 instead opting for the name ‘Wendy’.

Personnel whom enter into the perimeter must remain in groups of three and will be tethered to one another by a hempen rope. No more than a 3-meter gap will be breached between individuals for the duration they are within the perimeter. Unless evacuation protocols are initiated.

If SCP-XXXX-18 begins to show signs of discomfort or dissatisfaction; evacuation from Area [REDACTED], into the 3-kilometer radial warded forest must occur immediately. Personnel who survive evacuation must remain in the ‘safe zone’ for 24 hours, personnel whom incited this incident are not permitted to return to Area [REDACTED].

Description: Vague descriptions and drawings given to the foundation of SCP-XXXX by SCP’s-XXXX-1-18 have followed similar details. SCP-XXXX has been described as a slender, muscular, vaguely humanoid creature sharing resemblances to that of a goat or deer which stands somewhere between 3 – 4 meters tall, covered in a light chestnut brown layer of fur. SCP-XXXX has 3 long arms, 3 eyes, Antlers and where a mouth or nose would be long fur absconds the area. It carries a woven basket made from Birch wood on its back that is held up by its hair.

SCP-XXXX-18 has gone into further detail when describing SCP-XXXX and has added that it communicates primarily through a section between its antlers where Elder Futhark runes appear, SCP-XXXX-18 notes that it is highly unlikely that SCP’s-XXXX-1-17 could read this dialect. It is noted that this is not the only means SCP-XXXX can use to communicate as it has been heard once before by foundation members; see Addendum-01. The hypothesis formed from this incident is that SCP-XXXX must maintain composure and concentration on its anomalous properties or they will cease functionality. This temporary faulter was most likely due to emotional anguish SCP-XXXX experienced at the time of incident.

SCP-XXXX is completely undetectable by humans exceeding the age of 12 apart from the exception of SCP-XXXX-18. Multiple measures have been taken in an attempt to detect the presence of SCP-XXXX, including the sanctioned usage of other SCP’s to do so including both [REDACTED] and [REDACTED], none have been yet to succeed.

SCP-XXXX can be deemed completely intangible by humans exceeding the age of 12 and incorporeal to solid objects however cases have shown SCP-XXXX interacting with individuals through touch, deeming this anomalous property as an activatable adaptation.

SCP-XXXX will emit electromagnetic pulses in 30 second intervals within an estimated 3-kilometer radius of itself, disabling all modern technological devices. SCP-XXXX is also known to become hostile towards individuals carrying these devices.

SCP-XXXX has been described by SCP’s-XXXX-1-18 taking objects out of the basket adorned on its back as gifts that exceed the dimensions of the container, foundation staff speculate it may have access to some form of extraplanar space as SCP-XXXX will not leave the 6-kilometer radius around SCP-XXXX-18, so it has either collected the items over time and stored them in the container or creates the objects from within it.

SCP’s-XXXX-1-17: Children throughout the history of the foundation that were deemed their own anomalous entities have been discovered to be ‘subjects’ influenced by SCP-XXXX through closer study. The similarities between each child's stories had the reoccurring factor of a relatable figure that ‘gifted’ them their anomalous properties SCP-XXXX.

Additionally, each child that was ‘gifted’ by SCP-XXXX would slowly grow antlers, similar to SCP-XXXX's. This was the final determining factor whether an individual was its own anomalous entity or a subject of SCP-XXXX's influence.

Upon reaching 12 years of age most cases of SCP XXXX-1-17 appear to lose all anomalous properties accompanied by the shattering of any antler like protrusions which leave no traces where they once were. Once a child would lose its anomalous properties all memories of SCP-XXXX's existence would be lost along with it.

In some rare cases children would suffer from [REDACTED] instead of the blatant loss of their anomalous abilities, these cases vary in intensity and can have vastly different outcomes. Once a child loses its anomalous properties or [REDACTED] occurs SCP-XXXX would seek out a new child to ‘gift’ anomalous properties too (it is unknown how many children throughout history have been subjects to SCP-XXXX).

Additional anomalous properties SCP-XXXX has been speculated to have through the studies of SCP’s-XXXX-1-18 and the anomalous properties they’ve presented Include;

  • Flight
  • [REDACTED]
  • [REDACTED]
  • [REDACTED]
  • [REDACTED]
  • Enhanced Strength
  • Enhanced Speed
  • [REDACTED]
  • [REDACTED]
  • [REDACTED]
  • Enhanced Durability
  • [REDACTED]
  • [REDACTED]
  • Immortality

SCP-XXXX-18: An 18-year-old woman of Scandinavian decent with large antlers that sit atop her head and form a crown like appearance. SCP-XXXX-18 has not lost any of its anomalous properties or had [REDACTED] occur to them after exceeding the common threshold seen throughout SCP’s-XXXX-1-17 upon reach 12 years of age. Further research is being conducted into the nature of why this has occurred.

A current theory for why SCP-XXXX-18 has maintained retention of its anomalous abilities is currently uncertain however it may relate to a particular attraction from SCP-XXXX towards SCP-XXXX-18, this connection between the two unlike past subjects SCP’s-XXXX-1-17 is applicable to the simple understanding of language which allows the two too easily communicate in a way that it was speculated the other children were incapable of.

Other than the initial attachment of SCP-XXXX to SCP-XXXX-18 and the continued bond between them in excess of 5 years past the historically proven termination point of anomalous properties through SCP’s-XXXX-1-17. The only anomalous property SCP-XXXX-18 displays are the large antlers protruding from her skull, these seem to have no heft to them as she comfortably moves around.

Addendum-01. Recording

During an incident within SCP-XXXX-18's confinement sector when staff personnel went to [REDACTED], a recording was taken from outside of AREA [REDACTED], this sound was made from within the confinement sector by a previously completely unidentifiable entity (SCP-XXXX). After the recording ended, it was 24 hours before new staff personnel entered into SCP-XXXX-18's confinement sector. Recovery of the blood-soaked written Interview was attempted to no avail; the writing had become unintelligible. Further discussion with SCP-XXXX-18 was ensued with it having no recollection to the events that lead to the massacre of all on site staff personnel.
