Item #: NULL

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-# is to be kept in its original position in which it was installed in Area-███'s Nuclear Warhead Room. A team of no less than Four (4) are to be stationed outside the Elevator leading to the Nuclear Warhead Room, with at least one of such guards being of the ranking of Major. No physical contact is to be made with SCP-# without the approval of the O5 Council. No visual contact is to be made with SCP-# without the approval of the stationed Level 4 Clearance Security Guard. Any person to make unauthorized contact is to be terminated, regardless of status with the Foundation.

Description:
SCP-# appears to be a Nuclear Warhead control console built sometime around the 1950s. The console was installed mistakenly in Area-███ during its initial construction, as a nuclear failsafe system was requested by the O5 Council. SCP-# appears to be similar to that of those used during the Cold War era by the United States of America.

SCP-# has three (3) gauges, one of which measures the temperature of the Warhead, with the others being unmarked, and two (2) throttle-style levers that would likely control the flow of coolant into the warhead and the release of steam or other substance. The console itself stands at one (1) meter tall, and measures at four (4) meters wide and one and a half (1.5) meters deep. It is constructed of a standard aluminum body, and is covered by flat gray steel plates. The back side of the console has one (1), nine (9) centimeter circular power input port, that requires at least a constant nine-hundred (900) watt power current (hereby reffered to as SCP-#-A) (See Incident Report #-1). It has one (1) copper cable, covered in green rubber, extruding from the back of the console, that is to be inserted into any port on the nuclear warhead (hereby reffered to as SCP-#-B) (See Incident Report #-2).

None of the input levers on the console appear to affect any of the gauges on SCP-#, nor do they appear to affect any exterior measuring devices. No attempt at input into SCP-# has succeeded. SCP-# is to maintain the connection via SCP-#-A to a power source of 900 watts or higher at all times. Failure to do so will result in a meltdown of the attached Nuclear Warhead (See Incident Report #-1). The connection to the Warhead via SCP-#-B is to be maintained at all times. Failure to do so will result in a meltdown of the attached Nuclear Warhead. Any attempt to modify, move, or disable either SCP-# or the attached Warhead will produce the same result.

Acquisition Log:
SCP-# was purchased from ███████ █████████ Inc. in ████. It was sold at 7,262,000 Russian rubles. It was installed in Area-███ in ████ by Foundation Engineering Lieutenant Jashin ███████, who has since been ██████████ by MTF Operative █████ █████████. All personnel involved with ███████ █████████ Inc. have since been ██████████ by MTF Operative █████ █████████, by order of the O5 Council. MTF Operative █████ █████████ has since been reassigned to Field Agent, where ███ carries out Order O5-4257.
