Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX must be contained in a room with 2 foot thick lead walls and only one open point, a 5 by 5 inch hole in the roof for food. In order to observe SCP-XXXX, there requires a one way mirror along the wall. SCP-XXXX needs to be in an antiseptic room and there can be no contact with any living thing. In case of a power outage or other emergency, around five layers of lead doors should cover the opening to keep SCP-XXXX properly contained in order to ensure the safety of the facility. Special procedures are initiated by pulling the EMERGENCY lever left of the opening.
Description: Found by Archaeologist █████████ in Greece, SCP-XXXX takes on the appearance of anyone it comes into contact with. However, through testing this has been found to be found solely in their own mind. SCP-XXXX is capable of releasing a vibration that can affect and reflect brain waves back at the person who SCP-XXXX imitates. This allows it to have telepathic properties within 15 inches of its being. As it always looks like the viewer, the true form of SCP-XXXX is unknown to any human being, however research suggests its skin is made of clay-like tissue that can be molded or removed. When in contact with SCP-XXXX, a voice is heard in the brain of the contactee and is reported to be some phrase that has yet to be determined that sends the person into a hypnotic state. SCP-XXXX then sends out a microscopic spore that acts as an airborne virus. It appears to give the person their greatest, deepest desire changing them physically and corrupts them into a state of madness that makes them homicidal and die between 5 and 10 hours. With this spore, it can also transfer from person to person with a domino effect of mayhem. Reason/Origin for power's affect: TBD. Cure found: TBD. The telepathic wave seems to have radioactive properties and as such also physically mutate the person. If released, SCP-XXXX could send the current region into a state of chaos. Counter measures to stop the spores from spreading are still being prepared.
SCP-XXXX however gets afraid when it sees clouds of dust or sand as it contorts itself and hides in the smallest place it can find near it. Reason why: TBD. This seems to be when it is at its weakest. If escaped, greatest opportunity to capture it would be then.
Contained behavior consists of course laughter-like sounds and building sculptures using its own tissue. Research suggests each sculpture represents one of it's victims and it slowly destroys the sculptures before making them all new again.
Project █████████ is being filed for and results so far are inconclusive on how to permanently contain SCP-XXXX and render it useless.
This is my first try at an SCP so I do not even know if I did it right, any feedback so useful, thank you!
