Item #: SCP-4151
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4151 is to be kept in it’s original location in which it was discovered at all times, and should be contained at site ██. SCP-4151 is not to be activated at any time, as doing such would be extremely dangerous. A 33 m x 33 m x 12 m carbon steel room 7 cm thick, with one entry door, surrounds SCP-4151. Inside the chamber, another carbon wall has been surrounded around SCP-4151, which is 12 m x 12 m x 12 m, also 7 cm thick, with metallic glass serving as windows to observe SCP-4151. Only level 3 personal and above are allowed in the first containment cell of SCP-4151.
Description: SCP-4151 is a steam train located in Northern Nevada, and discovered in 19██. SCP-4151 looks to be at least 150 years of age. It is 19.2 meters long and 6 meters tall. SCP-4151 appears as if it is a normal functioning train, unless any subject, animal or human, is in a 10.6 meter radius of the train, in which tentacle like wires expand from the front of the train. The front of the train opens up, revealing a hole with a diameter of 3.1 meters, and grabs any subjects within its vicinity. SCP-4151 then [DATA EXPUNGED] the subject and pulls them into the train through the hole it’s created at the front. SCP-4151 seems to be able to puncture nearly all types of material, with no struggle seen from SCP-4151 while doing so. It is unknown how many wires SCP-4151 has at will, but the most recorded has been 214. After SCP-41251 has [DATA EXPUNGED] all subjects within its radius, the wires reform the front of the train again, and appears to be, once again, harmless. Every time a subject is pulled into SCP-4151, loud, rustling mechanical parts can be heard from SCP-4151. SCP-4151 has never been recorded advancing on it's own terms. However, precautions and safety measures should be in act as if it could at any given moment. It is unknown what happens to subjects after they have been pulled in by SCP-4151.
D Class Personnel are to be used immediately to distinguish the dangers that SCP-4151 possesses.
D Class personnel are no longer needed for testing, as threats of SCP-4151 have been discovered.
A request to the 05 council to use SCP-682 for testing against SCP-4151 is being awaited
Addendum: Those assigned to maintain SCP-4151 are to see document 4151 - 1
