Special Containment Procedures: While SCP-1616 can be physically contained by making sure that there are no trees or dirt/plant life that she could exploit to escape, nothing is known to be able to stop her ability to take over others within an unknown radius seemingly at random. There are attempts under progress to establish a healthy relationship with her so that there be little need for containment.
Description: This SCP shares much of her DNA with humans, and as such is humanoid, displaying the ability to alter her form mildly at will, the Foundation does not know the extent of this ability. Most often appearing in a humanoid-feline form or a humanoid-serpentine form. The Foundation does not know the full extent to which this ability can be used.
SCP-1616 has the ability to read the minds of humans within an unknown radius, though it is censored to only a specific unknown thought. When she detects said thoughts she has the ability to either seize the person's mind as her own and leave her old body or to leave them. Either way, she can alter their genes in the same way as she did herself, until they become a near clone of herself (henceforth known as SCP-1616-1). The two then share their memories, SCP-1616 giving SCP-1616-1 her memories and SCP-1616-1 giving SCP-1616 the memories of her old life. The bond shared between SCP-1616 and all instances of SCP-1616-1 is comparable to a hive mind. She also has the ability to control plant growth nearby, as well as the ability to walk through a tree larger than herself and emerge from another of the same species within 16 km (a little less than 10 miles) that is also larger than herself.
History: SCP-1616 was originally classified as Safe due to not knowing much about her. SCP-1616 used to be a non-anomalous human named █████ ██████, living in ███████, Massachusetts, USA until she had a lot of thoughts how she believed humans were destroying the earth and would soon destroy more planets, as well as destroyed/twisted/contained anything that they did not understand. All these thoughts infuriated her so much that she forced a genetic mutation until she became what she is what it is today. When SCP-1616 was first contained she was put in a square concrete room 5 meters on a side with a reinforced steel door as the only exit.

SPC-1616 asked one request (by speaking aloud to the surveillance camera in the room), which was simply "May I have some dirt please?" Dr. █████, who is in charge of studying this SCP cautiously obliged and sent a level 1 security personnel into the room with a small styrofoam cup of soil. SCP-1616 then took the cup of soil and dumped it on the floor in the middle of the room, and promptly lay down beside it. Shortly after this, there was movement examined from the soil as vines start to spread out of it and sprouted purple flowers. The vines slowly but visually spread, crawling across the floors and then over the walls and door. Next came the ceiling and finally, the camera was covered. It is assumed that she stood up next, for she soon was standing in front of the camera smiling as she parted the vines so that the camera could see. She then resumed to lie down and sleep. Structural examination of the containment cell showed that there was no damage done to the cell by the vines. The vines turned out to be non-anomalous Vinca Minor, also known as myrtle.

SCP-1616 and SCP-1616-1 started to control the plants in the enclose on the first day mentioned today in the date. They both started to grow vines along the wall alike to the way mentioned in Incident 1616-A1 and wandered through the enclosure to grow them all along the walls and somewhat up the trees. During the course of the next few days, the walls were completely covered in Vinca Minor. It is amazing what she could do in such a short amount of time. Some of the security personnel that were watching the surveillance feed had some ideas that we see what else she can do this with, for the knowledge and to see if she could help grow food without the use of fertilizer and pesticides and help reduce the price of products so that more people could afford it.

SCP-1616 and the instance of SCP-1616-1 were moved into a 16 km² enclosure that is walled in with 4 dm (decimeters [a little more than a foot]) thick walls and no roof after a request for her movement to more comfortable confinement by ████████. Soon after their being introduced to the new space SCP-1616 proceded to walk towards a nearby tree and walked through it. Surveillance cameras picked up her exiting another tree nearby. She proceeded to do this until she had been to the majority of the areas of her enclosure. She then returned to the area where she began and started to walk towards a body of water that was included in the enclosure and lay down to sleep with SCP-1616-1 nearby, also sleeping. Then the trees were later inspected and found non-anomalous, as well as all the same species of tree, letting us know that she could apparently bend space with circumstances alike to these.

SCP-1616 was within her containment cell today sleeping like normal when Dr. █████████ had been reported to have been missing for a short time, most likely an expanse of 1-2 hours. There was soon a search for him. about half an hour later a humanoid creature wearing the Dr. █████████'s clothes, (as noticed by his nametag on the breast pocket) came into the surveillance room where SCP-1616 was being monitored and me, as well as 3 other security personnel, were at the time. The creature was soon observed to be SCP-1616. She spoke to me directly, saying "I will do you no harm if you do me none in return." She then noticed that one of the security personnel was trying to discreetly look at the screen displaying the live feed from SCP-1616's containment cell. "I think you will find that she has not left the containment cell you put me in." She said. "What do you want," I asked. "I only want you to get me out of the containment cell you put me in and ████ █ ██████ ████, ██ █████ ████ ████ ██████ ███ ███ █████ ███ ███████." Feeling threatened I ███████ and told her that we would ███████ ██ █████████ ███ ███, ███ ████ ███ █████ ████ ██ ████ ██ ███ ███████████ ████ ██ ███ ████████. She then grumblingly agreed and called for a security officer to accompany her to her cell so that she could be watched for escape. The shocked officer then followed her towards the cell. I then let out a heavy sigh, for I had been holding my breath for some time, and began to hope that we would have no further trouble from her.

The following is a conversation between Dr. ████████ and SCP-1616 (henceforth referred to as Jade Snake) within her enclosure.
Dr. ████████: So, SCP-1616, some of our personnel have been talking about your ability to control plant growth, do you care to tell us anything about it?
Jade Snake: I don't like that title that you have given me since you contained me.
Dr. ████████: Sorry what do you prefer to be called?
Jade Snake: Jade Snake, or just Jade if it is easier. I also have a feeling that you are going to question me about my ability whether I say yes or not. So what is it you are going to ask?
Dr. ████████: Okay Jade, we want to know the extent to which you can control the growth of the plants.
Jade Snake: I have not encountered a living plant that I cannot make grow to my desire.
Dr. ████████: Can you give me a demonstration of something other than myrtle, by any chance?
Jade Snake proceeds to cause a small oak sapling to grow in between the two of them, and acorns form from the branches. She then offers some to Dr. ████████, who pockets them for further study.
Jade Snake: Are you happy with the example Dr. …?
Dr. ████████: Its ████████
Jade Snake: Okay then Dr. ████████.
Dr. ████████: Yes I am. We were wondering if you or one of your instances would be willing to helping with cheaper agriculture without fertilizer or pesticides?
Jade Snake: Yes we would be more than willing to help without normal pay, depending on the crop.
Dr. ████████: Excuse me?
Jade Snake: I don't approve of genetically modified food for the most part.
Dr. ████████: Okay so you want to help. Why?
Jade Snake: I would do anything in my power to protect the world from humans, even if it means I must work with them for a time Dr. ████████, though I would need more instances of myself for any actual effect.
Dr. ████████: Okay we will take this into account. That will be all for today thank you, Jade.
