Special Containment procedure: SCP XXXX is to remain inside a titanium box, 4 km- 4 km, at all times. guarded by 26 guards. no unpermitted individuals are allowed in the are at all costs, as the beast is ferociously deadly.
Description: SCP XXXX is part of the worm species "Earthworm" or "Lumbricina" located at "CLASSIFIED" Federal Reserve. SCP XXXX is roughly 1 km in length and 1/5 km in width. Several strips of flex tape are on it marking its growth per year, the tape shows that it grows roughly 1m each year.
SCP XXXX's rough jagged body changes black during the night and deep red when it feeds. SCP XXXX burrows by eating the ground & re-materializing it into gravel. no research has been conducted of how it re-materializes the ground. All info regarding SCP XXXX is stored in the SCP XXXX data binder.
All individuals placed into the SCP XXXX test chamber never returned. Scientists monitoring the test chamber noticed that when SCP XXXX revealed itself, the individuals inside are paralyzed. No further evidence has been discovered at this time.
Incident-XXXX-1: Authorized personnel tried to paralyze SCP XXXX on ?/?/89 for the purposes of researching its anatomy. D-XXXX tried to inject it with 8 gallons of widow venom in hopes of success. Upon injecting the venom, SCP XXXX grew 8m in length & immediately turned into a yellow so bright that scientists had to divert their attention from it to put on sunglasses. After putting on sunglasses they noticed that half the guards eyeballs melted & all cameras were shut down. D-XXXX was no more.
Roughly 2 hours later SCP XXXX turned back into its normal daytime state of grey & had gained intelligence. Scientists decided that it must of been SCP XXXX's defensive state. The guards that got their eyeballs melted were now laying on the floor twitching. An autopsy report showed that they all died at ?/?/89 - 11:59 p.m. The autopsy also showed that the bodies were fried from the inside. Testing of SCP XXXX is ongoing.
