Special Containment Procedures:
SCP- 4857 is to be kept in a cell of any size, made out of any material other than paper. The cell is to be monitored 24 hours every day with cameras that do not emit any visible light. The cell is to be kept darkened at all times to prevent loss of life.
Description:
SCP-4857 was found in █, Africa, on █, █, 20█. The village it was found in was completely abandoned. SCP- 4857 is a stack of 48 wide ruled notebook papers with 3 holes punched into the side on every one. The amount of papers always stays at 48. A sheet physically can not be removed through any means known to the foundation. The sheets always stay perfectly aligned, even at a molecular level. (see addendum 1 and 2). When a subject makes light pass through one side of SCP- 4857, the light will pass through as if the sheets were not there. The light will then project a black and white video onto a surface nearest to SCP- 4857. The video will show a time the subject, now referred to as SCP- 4857-2, has told a lie to another human being. The video will always last 4 minutes and 8 seconds. 4857-2 can not move until the video is finished. If the light is removed, the video will continue to play. The 1st part of the video will last 2 minutes and 4 seconds and will show 4857-2 telling the lie. The second part of the video will last 2 minutes and 4 seconds and will show 4857-2 telling the truth in the same situation as the first part. Even if 4857-2 had not told the truth in that situation, the video will still show them saying the truth. It will show 4857-2 telling the truth and showing how the truth helps the situation. After 4 minutes and 8 seconds, 4857-2 will fall unconscious. The light source and paper will still remain where they were originally, but the light will no longer pass through the paper. After 68 seconds, 4857-2 will return to consciousness. 4857-2 will then say, in English, “I am a child of the 48th king of truth, I have told a lie to another one of my kind and I am truly sorry for my error. I have found out what the truth can do and I will spread the word.” 4 seconds after 4857-2 has said this, they will travel towards the person they told the lie to, now referred to as 4857-3. 4857-2 will pass through any object in their way. Once 4857-2 has reached their destination, they will stop 4 meters and 8 centimeters away from 4857-3. 4857-3 will stop moving and turn towards 4857-2. 4857-2 and -3 will look at each other for 68 seconds. 4857-3 will say, in English, “You have made an error and defied the ways of the 48th king of truth.” 4857-2 will then say, “I have made an error and defied the ways of the 48th king of truth. I have changed my ways and will speak the truth to you.” 4857-2 will move 3 meters and 7 centimeters away from 4857-3 and put out their hand. A blank sheet of wide ruled notebook paper will appear in their hand. 4857-3 will grab the sheet and tear it perfectly in half. 4857-2 and -3 will then say, in English, “By the ways of the 48th king of truth, we will be cleansed.” Both halves of the paper will change size and replace the skin of 4857-2 and -3. Once all of the skin has been replaced, 4857-2 and -3 will not move for 6 minutes and 8 seconds. After 6 minutes and 8 seconds have passed, every part of 4857-2 and -3 body, including the paper, will turn to sand. The sand will have the same properties as normal sand and fall down. The sand, now referred to as SCP-4857-4, will form together to become a cube. The cube will remove grains of sand from itself by shaping itself so that the sand will fall off of it until the cube is made up of exactly 4,868 grains of sand. Once it has reached this amount, the grains of sand that had fallen off of it will turn into various forms of organic materials found in the Saharan Desert. The way the grains of sand change size to become these various organic materials is still unknown. The cube and the organic materials such as cacti and flowers will merge together and become a miniature model of the Saharan Desert. The size of this model varies, but it tends to be between 4 meters in area to 8 meters in area. This model will be an exact replica of the Saharan Desert, but without any insects or animals. The model will disappear 4 minutes and 8 seconds later. This entire process will only be able to take effect on two people until the Saharan Desert model has disappeared. Once it has disappeared, the light source and SCP-4857 will fall. The light source will then be able to pass through SCP-4857 again. The entire process will only work on humans.

Procedure:
removal of individual sheets on SCP-4868
Results:
SCP-4857 is in the center of it’s cell. The D-class is a male of average weight and average height and is given standard night vision goggles. The cell door is opened and the D-class walks in. The D-class is instructed to walk towards SCP-4857 and take the sheets of paper apart. The D-class was unable to tear them apart. The D-class is instructed to leave the cell.
Analysis:The D-class looked like he was trying his best to pry those papers apart, but he couldn’t. We will see if we can get some better tools to do this with, human hand aren’t the best for this stuff.
Addendum 2 - Date█

SCP-4868 and multiple researchers
Procedure:
removal of individual sheets on SCP-4868 and closer observation of the alignment of the sheets
Results:
SCP-4857 is in the center of it’s cell. Multiple researchers walk into it’s cell with observation tools and standard night vision goggles. The researchers observe SCP-4857 up close and say that the sheets of paper are perfectly aligned and stacked perfectly. They use many tools to try to pry them apart, but to no avail. One researcher used his microscope and turned on the light in it. The other researchers open the door and run out of the cell. The process of SCP-4857 occurred on the scientist, now referred to as 4857-2. 4857-2 had went through the walls of the foundation and went to █, Florida. 4857-2 traveled at a speed of 48 kilometers per hour. 4857-2 floated over any body of water in his way. 4857-2 stopped in front of his mother and the process continued. By the time the guards had got there, the Saharan Desert model was about to disappear. No other people had seen the abnormal properties of SCP-4857 or 4857-2 so nothing had to be done.
Analysis:What the hell was that man thinking turning on a light in front of 4868. We would have terminated him but it looks like the job was already done for us. We have been told that research has been halted because of what happened. He passed through walls like they were nothing and people could have seen him, we were lucky he headed towards that rural town in Florida.
