Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Keter (indicate which class)
Special Containment Procedures: The subject cannot easily be contained, as exposure to clothing of any kind can allow it to invade the clothes and manipulate the wearer, escaping with ease. Any personnel handling the subject must be completely naked at all times. To keep the subject alive for future study, electrically charged soup seems to nourish it somehow. Any kind of soup works, except for tomato. Tomato soup means death to whoever served it.
Description: The subject is a string of psychically linked ions, invisible to the naked eye except for the slight flicker of plasma. Its size can vary from 30 cubic centimeters to 4 cubic kilometers. However, in its base form, it is mostly harmless to humans. It becomes dangerous when exposed to clothing, however, in which case the subject will bond to the molecules of the clothing and quote-on-quote "possess" it, gaining the attributes of the clothing it possesses. It can use this ability to manipulate the wearer of clothes by moving their limbs, commanding them like a puppeteer. If it remains attached to a specific set of clothing for too long, it will start to bond with the wearer as well, gaining control over all mental and motor functions. The bonding process takes about 3 days to complete, after which the host will only stay alive for 5 more days before the subject is forced to find another host.
The subject is incredibly aggressive, and looks for any opportunity it can to escape. It is able to temporarily extend its psychic link to other entities, and has been able to communicate with other contained subjects and plot several escapes. Researchers are still trying to figure out a way to block its psychic signals, but have so far turned up nothing. Finally, the creature is able to process most forms of soup as nutrition, but gains a surge of energy when exposed to antioxidant lycopene, an ingredient most commonly found in tomatoes. This surge of energy allows it to release an electric shock in its vicinity that is deadly to any humans. Approach with caution and without clothes.
