To do this exercise, lead a side path on the slopes. Start by circling around the sides of the hill with your right foot, then continue with your left foot and lead the course around, alternating. This exercise is excellent for getting your hips moving through the floor. The best way to warm up is to walk on a treadmill, so you can keep your body moving all the time.
You can also do the above step up at home. To start, stand with your feet hip-width apart on a flat bench or the floor. Grab onto the bench with both hands, and bring your right foot forward for a drive or while leaving your left foot in a parallel position, and your right leg for a left foot drive. Left foot foot drive means you leave your left foot on the ground, just below where your right foot would normally be. Left foot is on the ground, right foot is bent at 90 degrees.

Like right leg drive, if you put your left foot on the ground while going for the right foot shot, you will likely be met with great resistance to get your foot off the ground, and will get up on the ball of your foot. In order to get to the right foot shot, you will need to bend at 90 degrees, this will take some practice. However, if you have the drive!
