SCP finds and contains one of the humans who has [REDACTED] planted into them. It was found in [REDACTED], Germany. They have it tied down in a concrete room with a thick dull iron door. When exposed to a person or a photo of a person it emits a horrible dog-like screeching keening. When it was allowed to reach a D personnel it spread all of its limbs so it is touching the ceiling, walls, and floor and shrieks at the personnel. They command the personnel to walk closer and it [REDACTED]. When exposed to a mirror it attempted to crawl inside of it, the surface acting like water. They barely managed to pull it back before removing the mirror. When exposed to a less perfectly reflectively surface, it will slam its whole body against the surface again and again, attempting to enter it. Over the time it is contained it continues to grow more limbs, more fingers, more feet, and they become less and less useful. When this gets too bad, it will “preen” itself, snapping limbs in half and ripping them off. From these wounds two more limbs will grow from it.

A city worker in [REDACTED], Germany was in the sewers and entered a maintenance area beneath a building, he heard the SCP making horrible noises in a padlocked room. The worker broke the padlock with a pair of bolt cutters and upon opening it saw the SCP, spread out in one corner of the room, where upon it began screeching even louder. He closed the door and upon alerting the police, SCP was alerted and came to contain it.

When threatened, the limbs all retract and cover the central body, attempting to protect the head and chest.

They cut off limbs and they heal over at an accelerated rate before eventually growing back, similar to a tree.

It eats and drinks just like a normal human, though it has no waste orifices, the torso completely flat and featureless.

The DNA in all the limbs is completely normal human. When they test skin from the torso and skull, however, the DNA most closely resembles a Succulent, some species of Crassulaceae.

It has lungs, but they are used primarily just for taking in air for vocalization, not because it processes oxygen. It exhales the same air it inhales. Sometimes it falls completely still except for a slight sway in its limbs, and stops PRETENDING to breath. The sway is similar to the fake sway of a praying mantis or walking stick to imitate branches in a breeze.

Its dental records and the DNA of its limbs matches a person who went missing from France more than a year before.

They found a second one in [REDACTED] Northern Territory, Australia. A noise complaint led to police investigating a house on the edges of [REDACTED]. Police found a relatively small metal cage suspended above a body of water. Within the cage was one of the SCPs, which had many limbs limply hanging from the bottom of the cage. Some of these limbs had been freshly bitten off by local crocodiles, which came by periodically to feed upon it. When it was being eaten it would shriek, which was what led to the noise complaint being filed.

When the police reported in, SCP was alerted and moved quickly to intercept. This specimen was labeled SCP-[number]-2. The first specimen was then designated SCP-[number]-1.

A third was found in [REDACTED] Wyoming. A house burned down and when firefighters had finished, police came to investigate, discovered a series of tunnels beneath the house and within a roughly hewed room another one of these creatures. Once again, as police reported in, SCP was alerted and quickly contained the specimen, then labeled SCP-[number]-3. Within the lowest part of these tunnel networks was also found a room which had been the source of the fire. Residue collected by field agents indicated an accelerant of unknown makeup, and carbon which seemed to indicate that a large amount of organic material had been burned in the fire.
