Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: If instances of SCP-XXXX are reported, MTF Epsilon-6 ("Village Idiots") is to contacted and deployed to the area where XXXX instances were reported. They are to locate and either terminate or sedate SCP-XXXX instances based on current population in captivity. The civilian(s) that reported SCP-XXXX instances, are to be given Class B amnestics as soon as possible and a cover story maybe needed.

Wild instances of SCP-XXXX are to be terminated on site unless the captive population is fewer than 15 members. If the captive population is fewer than 15, wild instances are to be sedated and transported to Site 17 for containment. If captive population exceeds 30 members, the excess members are to removed, and placed into a second containment chamber to prevent XXXX instances from becoming territorial with one another. No more than two chambers should be made. If both chambers are at maximum population, the excess should be euthanized and incinerated.

SCP-XXXX's containment chamber must mesure 25 x 25 x 10m. 3 meters of soil must line the bottom of the chamber and forest foliage be placed on top. This is necessary as SCP-XXXX instances use this foliage as bedding. 3-4 Tsuga mertensiana (Mountain hemlock) are to be placed in the cell and should not reach the ceiling. The lighting in the cell should follow a regular day night cycle consistent with that of the northwestern United States. The atmosphere of the chambers are to be consistent with that of the northwestern United States.

The containment cell is to be soundproofed and checked for damaged twice monthly. If damage is found, it is to repaired immediately as this shows active escape. Before personnel enter the containment cell, an aerosol sedative is to be pumped into the cell to render SCP-XXXX instances unconscious. D-class personnel are to enter the chamber and quickly repair the damages. If SCP-XXXX instances awake before repair is finished, the chamber is to be sealed and D-class are to be reported KIA.
