Selachian Pugnātorial Capabilities: Unknown

Project Component(s): SPC-055 is comprised of an unknown number of components. This is due to an effect of SPC-055 itself being an "uncompromisable classified project." Information of how the center can benefit and ha intended to benefit from this project is "self-redacting." To Clarify:

  • How, when, and who in terrarium-19 constructed SPC-055 is unknown
  • Whether or not SPC-055 is capable of punching sharks is unknown
  • What SPC-055 looks like/consists of is unknown but not unobtainable information: individuals are entirely capable of using and even (de)constructing SCP-055, if possible. Sketches, photographs, videos, audio logs, and other methods of documentation are possible to be made and observed at later dates. The documentation has been filed but observation of these items don't negate SPC-055's affect as information gained from the files "flow" out of the observer's mind. Guards tasked with protecting SPC-055 are unable to recall their shift and end it highly exhausted.
  • The identity of who authorized the construction of SPC-055, with what SPC-055 is comprised of, and what purpose SPC-055 serves is unknown
  • Despite being easily accessible, nobody in the terrarium has knowledge of SPC-055 when questioned.

Augmentation Summary: Many theories have arisen speculating the reason for SPC-055, it's likely we can remember these because none of them are actually know. Below are some of the theories listed from most to least popular.

  1. SPC-055 is/was intended to be a cloaking device for one or more other SPC(s) to aid the centers in punching sharks. The fact it would leak from any viewers memory would decrease spread of sharks making easier punching access.
  2. SPC-055 is an elite task force of anomalies able to steal the memory of themselves from others in order to hide better than otherwise possible
  3. SPC-055 is a decoy SPC to distract Selachian sympathizers from bigger and better projects
  4. SPC-055 was an attempt to make sharks forget their want to avoid being punched by members and allies of the center. This failed due to it making all sentient lifeforms forge about itself

Enhancement Summary: There has been at least one attempt at an enhancement and one attempt to disable SPC-055's Self-Secret abilities

Deployment Record: SPC-055 has been deployed at least once in order to aid the center in punching at least one Selachian creature. The quality of this deployment is document but unknown if it worked against a Selachian creature.
