Special Containment Procedures: SCP-1732 is to be contained inside Site-██ at least 50km below sea level. The containment facility of SCP-1732 is to be at least 20m x 20m x 20m in dimensions and constructed out of a minimum of 3.2ft of Wurtzite Boron Nitride coated with a Class-A structural reinforcement agent.

SCP-1732 is to be suspended off the ground at least 10m by Epsilon-grade electromagnetic rods spaced equidistant to SCP-1732. Generators capable of generating a power of supply of 1.5 Megavolts per hour with additional standby generators capable of generating at least 0.9 Megavolts per hour are required to power the electromagnets.
Transferring SCP-1732 is authorized only by at least twelve-thirteenths approval from the O5 council. In the situation that SCP-1732 is transferred, all civilians are to be evacuated from the direct line of transfer, and the mode by which SCP-1732 is transferred is to be escorted by a minimum of 4██ Security Personnel. SCP-1732 is to be constantly monitored for any irregularities in suspension height. Any fluctuations in height exceeding 1ft are to be reported to a Level-3 Research Supervisor. In the case that the electromagnets begin failing to sustain SCP-1732, Protocol Kyper-4 is to be carried out. All non-essential staff are to be evacuated including civilians within a 50km radius of Site-██.
Object Description: SCP-1732 is an anomalous sphere about 2.4 feet in diameter made of a currently unidentified metallic substance with a nearly perfectly reflective exterior. This object came to the Foundation's attention after a supposed meteor had crashed into the Earth roughly 1km outside of [DATA EXPUNGED] on █/█/19██.
Preliminary analysis of the object by local authorities revealed the object to be so heavy that even large cranes were unable to successfully lift the object from the impact crater. After local news reports were released giving details about a supposed "Immovable Object", Mobile Task Force Iota-10 ("Damn Feds") was deployed to retrieve SCP-1732 with an AJC-10 Electromagnetic Rod Crane. Class-B amnesic agents were given to residents of all cities within a 10km radius of the anomaly via mass delivery in aerosol form.
Routine weightings of the object reveal that the object is rapidly gaining weight, in addition to this the rate at which it gains weight is increasing at a rate of approximately 52 kN per every █ weeks. X-rays show that the object is not gaining any density and so it's anomalous properties are assumed to be tied to Earth's gravitational field. All documented attempts to reduce the gravitational force on SCP-1732 have resulted in several catastrophic instances and the loss of [REDACTED]. See Incident Report 1B-1732-A. The intrinsic cause of this rapid weight increase is currently unknown, however the intense gravitational force caused by SCP-1732 should have caused intense temperature increases due to nuclear fusion pressure and this has not been observed within SCP-1732. No known substance has demonstrated immunity to the weak nuclear force; further research is being done regarding this anomaly.

Initial trials with the dampener chamber proved to be successful in neutralizing the effect of SCO-1732. However, after 3 months of continued observation the effects of SCP-1732 returned at a more rapid rate than considered average. Fortunately, Protocol Kypher-4 was successfully enacted and only ██ casualties were experienced. |

By 20██, SCP-1732 is expected to be heavier than Earth at which all currently known electromagnets will fail to contain SCP-1732 most likely causing a GH or XK-class scenario . Alternative options in containing it such as Diyher-Folian Hume reduction chambers are being considered yet the resources required to make one powerful enough to contain SCP-1732 are not yet available. After the recovery of SCP-1732, SCP-140 documented worship of a "Sphere from The Heavens" previously unmentioned. Chemical analysis of rock formations from the time of the [REDACTED] contain trace amounts of the substance SCP-1732 is made of. Due to the thaumaturgical nature of SCP-140 potential occultic or extra-dimensional origins are being researched.

Interviewer: What association do you have with the events that transpired October 30th, 1961?
Interviewee: Apparently I was the only survivor, now cut to the damn point.
Interviewer: Verywell. Please describe what happened before the breach of 1732.
Interviewee: About 2 hours before it had all happened, me and my Battalion were requested to deploy to [REDACTED] for "Special Circumstances". The coordinates were only a couple kilometers away so I thought "Ah, what the hell".
Interviewer: Please continue.
Interviewee: My Battalion arrived at some hole-in-the-wall shanty place. It looked like an old radio broadcast station. I was about to head back when the ground started opening up about 30 yards away from where my crew had landed. And there it was. A giant metal box just lifted from the ground.
Interviewer: Anything out of the ordinary about said box?
Interviewee: Nothing at all, just a plain old metal box. Bolts were sealed to every edge and it was like 3 meters tall.
Interviewer: [sound of writing audible] Please keep going.
Interviewee: Well, we loaded it up and were told exactly where to take it to. No questions asked… About 3 hours into the flight the heli carrying the thing fucking tail-ended. That's when shit hit the fan. Some kind of ball burst out of the tail and straight towards the ground. And when it hit all I saw was a flash.
Interviewer: Do you have any recollection after that?
Interviewee: I woke up a couple hours later. I was in a hospital bed and the first thing I noticed was I couldn't feel my legs. Whatever that thing was cost me my damn legs! And all those sick bastards cared about was covering it up with the "Tsar Bomba" story. Fucking son's of bitches didn't even care to think about how many men died trying to ship their precious box!
