SPECIAL CONTAINMENT PROCEDURES
SCP-8420 will be kept in a locked room covered with a airtight tarp over the bathtub, no skin can be exposed when inside SCP-8420’s container and fire resistant body suites must be worn, for extra protection sprinklers must be checked bi annually and no flammable materials can be present
DESCRIPTION
SCP-8420 Appears to be a white traditional style porcelain bathtub with a red glutinous substance contained inside. SCP-8420 is comprised of two anomalies referred to as SCP-8420-A and SCP-8420-B.
SCP-8420-A consists of the bathtub itself, Current dimensions for the Anomaly are as follows:
Height 20.4 inches, Length 57.2 inches, Width 32.3 inches.
The bathtub is elevated from the ground by 4 metal legs, to the height of 3 inches. One of the legs appears to be offset by 3 degrees however tests have revealed this is no threat for breach and or safety to personnel. SCP-8420-A is shown to have excessive indestructible features not present in normal bathtubs of this Time. Recent tests have shown no damage to SCP-8420-A when Hit with blunt objects, however spillage of SCP-8420-B has been observed. Tests have also revealed that SCP-8240-A can endure extreme heat which would normally crack Porcelain. Test Scheduled for / / / would implement the use of [REDACTED] in order to destroy the SCP.
SCP-8420-B consists of the red substance later revealed to be Biological molecules, SCP-8420-A tests have revealed the substance to be a mixture of Keratin, Blood, biological molecules (including Human organs and Plant material), and waste products (including Faeces and Urine). This substance when in contact with any biological or living tissue, will begin to dissolve it into a gluttonous substance known as SCP-8420-B after around 20-30 seconds after contact, SCP-8420-B will only have its ability for a short period away from SCP-8420-A. Test have shown this time to be around 4-8 seconds, after this SCP-8420-B will burn away in a exothermic reaction and can cause severe burns on the test subject and fire hazard to surroundings, the severity of the reaction will increase as the volume of substance expelled increases. It should also be noted that SCP-8420-B cannot dissolve more then its volume, therefore one drop of SCP-8420-B isn’t life threatening.
When the Substance is inside of SCP-8420-A no combustion can be seen as it appears the natural state for SCP-8420-B is a liquid state inside the bathtub. The Volume of SCP-8420-B will not change staying at normal levels of 14 inches deep when substance is taken out or Subjects are put inside the SCP. Tests have also revealed that when the bathtub is tipped over or a large spillage occurs liquid that is propelled from the SCP will immediately be replaced creating a non stop flow of substance which would burn off as fast as it is produced.

D-34865 is passed through a airtight checkpoint where Subject is told to strip down and put on Wool Undergarments and clothes. After so D-class is sent into the containment chamber.
D-34865 “What the hell is that thing it stinks“
Dr-J “D-34865 please proceed to the Bathtub and Sit inside”
D-34865 “No way man, ill stink for a week. The guys will make fun of me”
Dr-J “D-34865 failure to cooperate will result in immediate termination do i make myself clear?”
D-34865 “Yea Doc”
Dr-J”Please proceed to SCP-8420 and sit inside”
D-Class moves toward the anomaly and after 10 ~seconds touches SCP-8420-B with his finger.
D-34865“Thats nice doc, nice and warm”
D-class proceeds to step into the bath and sit down the substance reaches to the top end of the D-classes Abdomen.
D-34865“You know what doc, this ain’t that bad, i think i got one of the good ones, is it like extremely comfortable or something?”
Dr-J“D-34865 quickly please describe how warm the bath is, and what is your desire to leave out of 10”
D-34865 “Quick? Well it feels like around 30-40 degrees and i could stay here all-ow”
Dr-J”What do you feel?!”
D-34865 “It like stings- (Screams)”
[D-class speaks no understandable vocabulary after this point]
Dr-J”Please leave the subject immediately”
D-class is visibly seen to cling onto SCP-8420-A to push himself up, after doing so D-classes lower half appears to be missing as he lifted himself up.
Dr-J”Guards please be on alarm for a fire”
D-class falls back into the bathtub splashing substance across the containment chamber which lights up around the bathtub
Dr-J”Wait”
D-34865 “HE-(Screaming)”
D-class is seen sinking into the bathtub whilst clinging onto the sides,finally he is too weak and the D-class submerges under the liquid whilst screaming. Screaming continues until the Class-D is submerged and bubbles are seen to appear on the top surface of the bathtub. Subjects hand is seen to reach out before it falls over and sinks.
