Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures:
Local establishments within a 76km radius of the city of Manchester, United Kingdom, should be monitored closely by MTF Alpha-4, should an instance of SCP-XXXX appear, Alpha-4 (posing as local police) will lockdown the area surrounding the establishment under the false pretence of a recently committed crime, during this time SCP-XXXX will be under surveillance and guard until the dematerialisation of the appearance.

During the lockdown, three D-class personnel armed with: three (3) two-way radios, one (1) GPS and one (1) shoulder-mounted video transmitter, the D-class will enter via the main entrance and locate a breaker room that will be randomly positioned in SCP-XXXX, should the D-class encounter SCP-XXXX-2 then the operation will be declared a failure and another trio of D-class will be sent in brandishing the same equipment, when the D-class locate and reach the aforementioned breaker room, one (1) D-class will be instructed to enter the breaker room and pull the singular handle to deactivate the instance of SCP-XXXX, the D-class will be declared as lost and irretrievable, upon the instance of SCP-XXXX ceasing to function, the people that were formerly located inside of the establishment will be provided with B-class amnestics after the lockdown has been rescinded.

Should all attempts to shutdown SCP-XXXX fail, the use of twenty-four (24) demolition charges will be authorised and placed on the vital foundations of the instance to force a removal, this attempt has a 99.6% success rate and will be used only when the instances of SCP-XXXX exceed reasonable amounts to the point where any attempt of reaching the breaker room becomes null (See Addendum XXXX-A).

Description:
SCP-XXXX is a randomly materialising and unbranded store that consumes the establishment it will appear in, the boundaries of this building do not match the size of the interior of SCP-XXXX but will somehow still appear natural, SCP-XXXX sells an incomprehensible amount of items at an extremely low price varying from an average piece of candy to an SCP (See Addendum SCP-XXXX-B), due to the dangerous capacity of the store it has a very high priority of removal despite the potential research benefits since it appears in a dense and urban area.

SCP-XXXX has appeared twenty-nine (29) times since the initial discovery, two (2) occasions have caused severe damage to the safety of the world due to breaking and entering of the locked-down area, it is believed that the Chaos-Insurgency were behind the intrusion at first but the second suspect is unknown therefore the number of embedded agents has increased since to catch the perpetrator.

SCP-XXXX-1 is a featureless humanoid entity that patrols the interior of SCP-XXXX, the number depends on the amount of people located inside before the materialisation of SCP-XXXX however the number of SCP-XXXX-1 will multiply every thirty (30) minutes until it is physically impossible for them to consume any more space, SCP-XXXX-1 will attempt to mutilate any living organisms that have been introduced to SCP-XXXX, it is presumed that SCP-XXXX-1 will know when a new organism has entered due to the heightened activity.

SCP-XXXX-1 does not appear to contain any internal organs and seems to be completely hollow however they are completely impervious to any damage and only cease to exist after the removal of SCP-XXXX, SCP-XXXX-1 also seems to be incapable of scaling any heights or leaving SCP-XXXX-1, the reason for this is unknown but if the organism is out of reach they will aimlessly swarm it until it is forced to vacate the area.

Addendum-XXXX-A: On ██/██/██, nine (9) attempts at reaching the breaker room were made but to no avail, during the course of these attempts twenty-nine (29) hours had passed, by this time there were too many SCP-XXXX-1's to avoid so the destruction of this instance of SCP-XXXX was inevitable, on ██/██/██, the authorisation was given to detonate the specified amount of demolition charges, this resulted in mass news coverage, amnestics of this level were not able to be provided therefore Chaos-Insurgency soon learned of SCP-XXXX and recovered an unknown amount of munitions and SCP objects, despite the damage caused by the news coverage the operation was still declared a success.

Addendum-XXXX-B: An instance of SCP-035 was discovered sitting idly on a shelf in SCP-XXXX, SCP-035 was not recovered but is believed to have been dematerialised after the removal of SCP-XXXX therefore another threat was not posed to the safety of the area, it is unknown if SCP's such as SCP-682 are able to appear in an instance of SCP-XXXX, if so then more action needs to be taken in the event of a K-class scenario occurring due to the mass appearance of SCP's such as 682 or 096.

Transcript from the first recorded instance of SCP-XXXX, 3 D-class equipped with the standard equipment stated above have set foot inside of SCP-XXXX.

D-0833: "Uh...██████, we're seeing a lotta' shelves and stuff in here... some crazy stuff on 'em as well..."

██████: "Pan the transmitter across one of the shelves, D-0833."

██████: "Munitions... none of which are available to be purchased legally, inspect them closer please."

D-0116: "Hey, we got some people coming, did you guys send anyone else in here?"

██████: "Negative, D-0116 and D-4602, investigate and attempt to get a good sightline of them, be wary."

D-4602: "Hol--"

D-0116: "What the [EXPLETIVE REDACTED]?!"

██████: "Provide status."

D-0833: *Sounds of struggle followed by static*

██████: "What the hell? Goddamnit, alert the lockdown personnel and call in MTF Pi-1, we need to clear out the interior of SCP-XXXX and learn more from it."
