A location manifested during a Basement Club live-action roleplaying event.
The Basement Club is a loosely organized group of roleplaying enthusiasts, primarily practicing the distribution of anomalous objects designed for the purpose of roleplaying. While BC often designs items for tabletop or live-action roleplaying in a medieval fantasy setting, other objects are made for the other genres/styles of roleplaying.
Most BC members operate exclusively online, selling or purchasing products via commercially available mediums. It is worth noting that not all BC members create and sell items. 71% of BC members purchase items, while the remaining percentage manufacture items. These "Blacksmiths" as they are called are often low-level reality benders who apply anomalous effects to already existing items. Very few blacksmiths actually create their own items that they sell.
The Basement Club was started by ████ ██████████ (SCP-XXXX) with several reality benders. The first members of this group, referred to as "Game Masters" by other members, began work in an underground structure constructed by SCP-XXXX in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. This structure has yet to be located by Foundation personnel and is presumably still in use.
BC will occasionally hold events for tabletop or live-action roleplaying. These events often take place in remote areas within the United States, and heavily exclude any members who do not dress and act in their own characters. Many of these events feature a closing event referred to as a "Total Party Kill". All visiting civilians of the event will stand in close proximity and be collectively terminated by a large falling rock, though variations on this have occurred. All individuals participating in the event will be transported instantaneously to their residence. No deaths have been recorded from these events.
