Where I throw absolutely shit ideas on here and you see right through the lies I tell you about how they're good!

Below you'll see my list of Ideas. That's all pretty self-explanatory. Down below is a link to my Demo page where you can see examples of what I can do with a bit of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Will do custom page formatting stuff (assuming I can figure out how to do whatever it is you want me to do) in exchange for being listed as a contributor.

Ideas

+ Template I'm using so y'all understand where the FUCK my brain is going

Outline: Here I'll tell you whatever the fuck my latest and probably not greatest idea is.

Details: Here I'll explain even more of my idea's details, thereby shooting myself in the foot because you already thought I was insane, and I'm just proving your point.
Dr. █████ ████ does not condone the shooting of oneself in the foot, especially if you do not have similar regenerative properties from a failed experiment on SCP-████.

Reason for Idea: Here, I'll basically just say, "Because it's cool." There might be a few exceptions where I instead say, "Because it's fucking awesome!" but those are few and far between.

TL;DR: So y'all don't have to read through the entire shitty idea to berate me for lowering your IQ.

SCP Ideas

+ Idea 1: SCP that identifies other SCPs [ABANDONED]

Outline: This SCP would be able to identify other SCPs' anomalous effects (and the basics of how they work/can be prevented) with some side effects and difficulties. Namely, it will trigger any effects it discovers (the nearest human or humans being affected if the effect requires a human to work).
Details: (Currently) 50 meter radius for this effect, only thing that has an observable effect on the radius of this effect is a Faraday cage charged externally up to at least 2,000 volts. May have it be certain wavelengths of light instead, but if so, they will be specific enough that the best way to reliably contain(-ish) the effect itself is to build a Faraday cage around the specimen.
Reason for Idea: So basically, this one is something I haven't seen done on the site yet (but who knows, I might have just missed it in the six fucking thousand other SCPs) and I wanted to have a try at writing it out.

+ Idea 2: Group of SCPs that are the same person/object [WIP]

Outline: For clarification, the objects/people don't just look the same. They fully, entirely, and undeniably exactly the same thing at exactly the same age in multiple different places at exactly the same time. That was a run-on sentence. Sorry.

Details: Obviously, the SCPs are going to be quantum entangled. That's not a surprise. The thing is, quantum entanglement normally requires affected atoms to remain near absolute zero in a near-complete vacuum and be unobserved. So realistically, these would not merely be "Explained" SCPs. Also, anything that happens to one will happen to all the others.

(Formatted this next bit like a file, aside from my personal comments in parentheses)
Each is covered in unidentifiable markings (no, seriously. They change every time all of the SCPs aren't being observed) which appears to be a random assortment of atoms of all types. There is seemingly no pattern or reason to the composition of the material. The only thing that remains consistent throughout the material is the age of it, or rather the lack thereof. It appears to only age while being observed, then revert back to an age of zero as soon as it's unobserved. It has behaved this way since the Foundation's acquisition of the first instance found.

There are now 46 separate instances of [INSERT NAME] contained by the Foundation at various sites. Bringing two together appears to cause no ill effects aside from confusing researchers at first when they attempted to direct the two instances to separate locations in the room. The predicament was solved when Dr. █████ directed one of the instances to stand in both places at once. This implies the instances share one mind, but can still operate independently when in close proximity [AS A FOOTNOTE: Further research necessary to determine the usefulness of this for menial labor or containment of other SCPs].

Yada, yada, yada not hostile, blah, blah, blah do not test durability because if one dies they all do, [INSERT OFFICIAL MUMBO JUMBO HERE].

Reason for Idea: I liked the idea of quantum entangled SCPs and wanted to write something similar to this anyway. I may need to add more quirkiness to it when implementing, but if I explained all of the quirks I had as ideas here, this idea would be exhaustively long.

TL;DR: Like clones, but actually same object. Quantum physics, but broken.

+ Idea 3: Superposition SCP [WIP]

Outline: Basically, the idea here is that the SCP is unable to be normally observed, and therefore is usually in a superposition of multiple states (e.g. Contained vs Breached, Dead vs Alive, etc.) so it is unusually expensive to contain, requiring many advanced devices to observe it so it is no longer in superposition. I will likely use some or all off the following concepts to create this SCP and its backstory: Schrödinger's Cat, the Monty Hall Paradox, the Grandfather Paradox, some sort of "this statement is false" effect, and quantum superposition in general.

Details: SCP-████ is not able to be observed by normal means (e.g. sight, sound, touch, smell, or taste), and its containment procedure consists of multiple different isolated systems similar to those used to observe quantum events. These systems must either be manned or recording data to files for later review so SCP-████ remains in a constant state of observation. If any number of these systems malfunctions, it is considered of the utmost priority of the Foundation to repair or replace the system, as failure of more than two of these systems at once could result in a potential containment breach.

If not constantly observed, SCP-████ can and will go into a state of quantum superposition. If this happens, it is considered a containment breach scenario and any personnel suspected of neglecting their duties (e.g. not maintaining complete attention on monitoring systems, neglecting to repair potentially broken systems, etc.) will be administered a Class-A Amnestic and terminated from Foundation employment.

Reason for Idea: Pretty much just cuz it's cool.

TL;DR: Quantum Physics but it's a person.

+ Idea 4: Dreams Can Come True [Less WIP]

Outline: "They've promised that dreams can come true, but forgot to mention that nightmares are dreams, too." —Oscar Wilde
I'm basing the entire story here on that quote.
Human child, permanently asleep. Reality bender. Manifests whatever they dream about in a certain radius around them. Usually, this is nice and peaceful or some ridiculous scenario, but on occasion the child will have nightmares. This is when it gets dangerous for any Foundation personnel nearby.

Details: Not certain if I will have the manifestations be permanent or temporary.
If I go with the option of permanent manifestations, it will likely be a multi-month to year-long or longer project, potentially setting up derived SCPs, tales, and other lore.

Likely going to make an Ideas Forum post on this to see if I can get it greenlighted, then either sit on it for a while or start creation but refine the idea for a long period of time before posting.

Probably using the terminal script from [ SCP-], enlisting Woedenaz's help (if possible) in getting it fully functional for this project.
